"Hey Google is not supported on this device"

If you installed a rebuild released on 19/11/2023 then this post is no longer relevant, and you may update the Google app to the latest version without breaking Voice Match.

Those who see "Hey Google is not supported on this device" when accessing the "Hey Google & Voice Match" settings:
1) Uninstall app updates for the "Google" app.
2) Disable automatic app updates for the "Google" app in Play Store.
3) Install the last working version of the "Google" app (14.38.27) manually:
Don't install any newer version of the app (14.39.xx or newer) for now until Google tends to this issue.
Note: If the "Hey Google is not supported on this device" is still showing after doing the above, just do Clear data -> Manage space -> Clear Google Search Data, then relaunch the app and retry.

Try patching init_boot.img instead and flash to init_boot_ab. You shouldn't touch vbmeta at all.

2023-10-17 15:03:36 +0000 UTCsuper , i tried to r o ot patching the boot.img and flashed it via fastboot on both slots but nothing changed tried 3 times and i flashed the stock vbmeta with the disabling verification command , do i hve the patched vbmeta img?
