Bonding Grinding Belts Back Together?

I've been trying this for years, to no avail.

Spoiler warning for my patreons: still no avail. -frowny face- However! Sometimes the journey is its own reward. TBD on this journey.

If this is something you happen to know a little bit about, I'm all ears!!

Bonding Grinding Belts Back Together?

Comments

I recently got Milwaukee’s new die grinder and so far I’m very pleased with it. Plenty of rpms/torque for various abrasive discs and cutoff wheels. Haven’t tried burrs yet but I’m guessing it could handled them effectively. I really dig my 12” Dynafile and am surprised how quickly it removes material. Works great on foot callouses too.

Oh oh, BTW, I see grok has spoken. I frequently find grok and all AI tools spend a lot of text giving bad advice. They usually get a bit correct, but If I was grading it, it'd get a D at best.

Oh, by the way industrial abrasives exposed to high heat, say grinding metal, bond the rocks to the substrate using a phenolic adhesive, axslow curing process that takes huge festoon ovens to have enough bake time to cure.....
