Vilous | Side Story Comic "New Human" Page 2 [Pre-reading the Comic]

Hello! Me and Rotarr present the Vilous collab comic, second page.

I have prepared a small lore tidbit.

We did not have time to introduce the name of the Sergal called Madam in this comic. Her name is Lijei. She is in this area currently - I have not set the details, but she is the facility manager of a number of public home units within the Nagaya complex located within the Maigai area in the southeast. This facility is a large tenement styled location, where children and children with mothers (mainly Agudner) alongside adults work in order to look after them and live together. In Gold Ring there are many children, especially in Nagaya, being the most populous. In Nagaya, the divisions are made according to age groups.

All the people working here are given the title "Great Mother", but the facility chief of staff is named "Grand Mother (Madame)" to distinguish. Lijei is an old sergal and will be an experienced person who has taken care of many children. The deputy facility chief called "Ubina" is a female Agudner, which came about in middle age. She originally worked a different job, but after raising her own child, she remained as a staff member at this house.

Madam Lijei, may actually be a male. We do not have a means to judge a sergal's sex from appearance. Indeed, many male Sergals are engaged in collective child rearing and their passion for work is not different from that of female Sergals.

However, Agudners, their males are rarely engaged in this work. This is related to the fact that their women breast-feed their young. The females instinctively realize that it is their career and vocation to nurture children the very first moment they hold their young in their arms.

私達はマダムと呼ばれたSergalの名前を漫画の中で紹介するタイミングを持たなかった。彼女の名前はLijei （リジエイ） と言う。彼女は、この地域-私は詳細を設定していないが、南東のMaigai地域の集合住宅の施設長である。この施設は、子ども達と幼い子どもを持つ母親（主にAgudner)、そして彼らの面倒を見る為に働く大人達が集団で暮らす大きな長屋であり、GRでは多くの子ども達がいるため、この家は一つの区域にいくつも存在している。なお、長屋は子ども達の年齢によって区画が分かれている。

さて、ここで働く人々は、みな "grand mother"と呼ばれるが、施設長はその中でももっとも大きな"grand mother"である。Lijeiは年かさのSergalであり、多くの子どもの面倒を見てきた経験者であるだろう。Ubina（ユービナ）と呼ばれた副施設長は、およそ中年に差し掛かった女性のAgudnerである。彼女は元々別の仕事をしていたが、自分自身の子どもを育て上げたあと、この施設に職員として残った。

しかし、マダム - Lijeiは実際には男性であるかもしれない。私達はSergalの性別を外見から判断する手段を持たない。っそれに、多くの男性のSergalが集団育児に従事しており、彼らの仕事への情熱は、女性のSergalと寸分違わないからだ。

なお、Agudnerのうちでこの仕事に従事する男性は有意に少ない。これは、授乳を行うのが女性であることと関係している。彼女たちは、知らないうちに子ども達と触れ合うことが自分の天職であることに気付いていく。Ubinaもそのひとりであった。
