Lost Media: A video I created in 2016, but never uploaded.
Added 2023-03-11 00:09:36 +0000 UTCIn 2016, someone sang a yandere-themed parody of "You'll Be Back" from the musical "Hamilton". She sent me her song, and wanted me to upload it to my YouTube channel.
I loved the concept, but I had three problems with the song:
1. I didn't like the instrumental that was chosen (chiptune instead of orchestral)
2. I thought that the vocals would sound better without autotune
3. I thought that there were a few places where the lyrics could be improved
For a short while, I was working together with the vocalist to produce a song that I would be more satisfied with. While waiting for her to deliver the new version of the song, I created a visuals above. But, eventually, the vocalist got busy and could no longer work on the track, so it never got finished.
Even though I'm not really satisfied with this version of the song, I thought that it would be a shame to just leave this video on my hard drive, unseen by anyone. So, I've decided to share it here. A piece of "Yandere Simulator Lost Media" that you might enjoy.
I would love to one day work together with a vocalist to create a parody of You'll Be Back that I'm actually satisfied with, but it's at the bottom of the priority list for now...

Let's be real, Ayano just covering the song would be so fitting. Especially that line that goes "I will kill your friends and family to remind you of my love." Sounds just like her.

2023-08-18 19:35:54 +0000 UTCYeah, I can definitely see why he didn't want to upload this. Definitely also needs some better recording equipment, and I don't see why it needs so much autotune? If she's a singer, she can just take multiple takes and use the ones where her pitch is precise.
