Your votes were tallied, and The Barber of Silverymoon overwhelmingly won! After prepping everything, I can see why. This one is going to be an absolute blast! I hope your players are ready for a close shave!
In this Adventure, your players will find themselves in the city of Silverymoon where they'll have to investigate a string of disappearances. Some townsfolk vanish entirely, leaving behind whispered rumors of fiends or other evil creatures having spirited them away. Others return strangely altered, with their memories of having been kidnapped wiped clean and their minds strangely dulled—and always with remarkable haircuts. Can your players get to the bottom of this, or will they suffer the same fate as all those who have run into The Barber of Silverymoon!
For the final encounter, I decided to take things to the next level and incorporate the minion and villain mechanics from Flee Mortals. The improvements are in the encounter pdf I provided, but if you'd like more details, check out the free preview pdf!
Advent's Tips: When running this, I highly recommend opening two tabs of the notes when one of the players gets trapped in the Barber Chair; otherwise, you will be scrolling quite a bit while the party is split!
I recommend using Map Pack 1 for the cave, but it can also help quite a bit to draw the map out! I do not recommend going into this Adventure blind; it has quite a lot of moving parts!
(Update 8/31/23): I've created a brand-new Google Doc where everything is Indexed and each section is collapsible in order to make navigating the document 10x easier. If you refresh the page you can make everything in the document re-collapse in case you open too many things at once!
*(This is only available on Google Docs unfortunately these features aren't available on the Word Doc)
