"This story begins in his childhood, tho spans before it as well. You see the earliest descendants were actually brothers, twins. They had discovered a giant chaos energized crystal, yet it seemed to contain other energies as well. The first brother, the one in blue, touched the crystal, and was electrocuted, but survived. This lightning was unlike anything in recorded history. As for the other brother, he was overwhelmed with chaos energy, being driven mad. The brothers have had to fight, with the lightning bearer winning due to the chaos brother lacking proper wielding of his power. So as the family tree developed, the chaos brother was indirectly cursed as well to live as a plight on his bloodline, and one day, when the family was large enough, having a gathering. The brother returned. The brother, being so much stronger than the bearers now, slaughtered the family. The only survivors being Nero, and his mother. Only because his mother had escaped with him. But she was lucky because the brother was about to kill the child had the father not sacrificed himself for their survival. This exposure to the chaos brother is what indirectly caused Nero’s entire instability. Fast forward to the present, where Nero is just trying to live his best life with his friends, his ancestor, the chaos wraith, returned yet again. Nero’s memory of that day, which mind you, was originally suppressed due to trauma. Causing Nero to indirectly trigger the thundra mode to awaken during their fight. However the wraith did not know this: Nero can also absorb chaos energy. Now fueled by the same energies his family were born with, he combats the Wraith. It seems like an even match, until Nero gets the wraith in a pinned state, and starts absorbing his energy. This however, even tho the wraith forced Nero off, caused the wraith to quite literally fall apart. With his dying breath, the wraith, begs for forgiveness from Nero. Nero gave him none, as even if you’re family, there are lines, and the wraith had crossed them."
