Friday Rambles 2025-12-26

Good afternoon, Fridaynauts. Hope you are having a good holiday season.

It's not Friday! It's actually, Monday, December 29, 2025. This is the last Friday Ramble of the year, on this last Monday of the year, and we're going out with a delayed bang.

Not Game Dev Stuff

The past week was busy with holiday stuff. Friendsmas, Familymas, Other Friendsmas, and so on. Not a lot of business stuff happened, obviously. Also, I already did my year in review with the last ramble, so there's not much to say here in addition to that. I'm just posting to keep the streak going, I suppose.

While driving back and forth between places, I thought of how Game 2 would be organized, as far as narrative goes. It was a nice way to just marinate my ideas and rotate them in my mind while the droning sound of the road destroying my tires and suspension kept me centered. Game 2 is looking more and more finished in terms of story and scope, so it should be a cinch to write the store page and make the trailer for a January announcement. Right?

Like an idiot, I promised bluesky that I'd draw 100 OC portraits like I used to do back in the day on twitter. I drew three and then remembered why I stopped doing that, which is because 100 portraits is a lot and it takes a long time to draw them. So I'll be doing that for the rest of the week.

Anyway, let's toss 2025 into the pile of previous years and try to make 2026 a good one. I'm pretty excited for what's to come for Endless Monday next year. We'll hopefully be starting off strong with the Game 2 announcement, and the new merch stuff which I can't wait for people to see, you can't even imagine how excited I am.
