The fix for models becoming overexposed was omitted from the kefla prerelease, I'm currently packaging it for the next prerelease.
Until then here are some comparison screens from the main project to illustrate the difference, Goku (after/before) is also using a newer version of the shader.

The way the mod is setup, there is a main project, and forks of the main project which exist separately, so i'm able to package a character in isolation from the rest of the project.
By doing that i need a new material that only affect the one character's shading, otherwise it replaces everything in the game and leads to broken visuals. I'm working on plugging this fix into that material now.
