Ok can't stop thinking about this show since I watched it! If you have watched this before, did you binge it or take breaks? I like that it's detective work - like CSI kind of stuff - but with these two amazing actors. It's pretty heavy and pretty dark for sure but one I need to know what happens! In honor of Martin Luther King Day, I decided to watch Selma. This was heartbreaking and inspiring. It made me want to learn more about the details of his life and legacy. How could humans be so cruel to other humans? It doesn't seem right that this was not that long ago. We've come a long way but I know we still have a ways ago.

I loved loved this movie. Movies that can make you FEEL like that are just special. The fact that it was based off a true story is incredible and inspiring and it is amazing acting, directing, storytelling that can make you fall just so in love with this family in 2 hours. One of my new favorites.

Oh boy oh boy. This was a lot. I know a lot of the message and underlying themes were in there trying to teach me something but I think I was just distracted with the over the top violence, greed and horrible people-ness?
