Switch to blender 4.2 and upcoming

Quick news to say that going forward I'm switching to blender 4.2 (4.2.1 precisely), so Bonnie is gonna be the last model done in blender 4.1.

What's next : first I need to finish the rdr 2 render, hopefully by next week. After that, I'm not 100% sure yet but here's a possible hint : "Follow the white rabbit. Knock, knock". I'll confirm that a bit later.

Arthur Morgan Model Release

He comes with one outfit and one hairstyle.

There are a few custom properties in the UI to : fit the hair under the hat, fit the satchel with the vest and hide some parts of the shirt in case you use the vest.

Update on upcoming models

Quick progress report : Bonnie is done, Arthur is done.

John is ~40% done I'd say. Body/outfit textures and materials are done. Now remains making the custom body morph, fitting the outfit and rigging.

Sadie Adler V2 Model Release

First release of 4 for RDR2, the others will come later.

The model, outfits and textures have been redone from scratch.

She has 4 outfits, 3 hairstyles, 2 body textures.

There is a custom property on the hats that you can access from the UI to fit the hair into the hat.

Arthur is coming around just fine ! This particular game model has a single material shared by all meshes, hence the horror show when I put the diffuse face texture.

Joke aside, I'm done with Sadie Adler and nearly done with Bonnie MacFarlane. Arthur is 25% done and John is 0% but both should be a bit faster than the girls.

Blender 4.2 new EEVEE

As you may know, blender 4.2 comes with a brand new EEVEE engine that supports "ray tracing", or rather screen space ray tracing which means it will calculate global illumination and reflections for everything that is visible on the screen.

It's a step forward and overall my models seem to hold up fine as far as I can tell.

Addons update (blender 4.1 & 4.2)

With the release of blender 4.2, I've updated the UI to support the new addon format that will be required from now on. Do not use 4.2 version of the UI on lower blender versions.

It includes a small bug fix with expression lists where some unwanted morphs could appear there.

Bunny Suit Release - Outfit Library

As teased earlier, I've added a new outfit to the outfit library (part 2).

It has 3 colors + a toggle for the stockings (fishnet or not fishnet, that is the question).

The pasties are visible by default when you bring it from the library but they will clip with the leotard so pick one or the other.

Hi there,

RDR2 will be my next target with at least Sadie and Arthur. I've had a render in mind for a long while with them that I really hope I can achieve as I imagine it.

For now I'm done with Sadie's head/body shape, as well as body textures. Up next : rigging&materials for eyelashes, eyebrows, hairs and outfits.

If you use the mask, there's a custom property accessible in the UI to hide the face. It avoids ears sticking out.

The foam in the bath was a bit of a headache to get to look right. The lingerie on the faucet or the coat as well although they're barely visible in the end :(.
