I love this comic a lot. A lot of Phoebe's character is pulled from how I saw my sister when I was growing up, so sweet little comics like these are really special to me!
Also, I'll upload the Q&A tomorrow! There'll be an extended section for THE FLOCK tier as well!
It's Mason again!! I think this is the first time since their debut that they've like actually shown an emotion on their face
Also fun fact! The reason why I usually use she/her pronouns for Mason is because I have WAY more male characters than female characters in the comic, so it helps tip the scale a little more evenly
Not much to add to this comic! Fun fact, this was originally supposed to be a two-part comic and the titles would spell out "Found Family," but I decided to insert another comic inbetween, so it ended up being a little clunkier with "Found Chosen Family"

Another scrapped comic! I wrote this comic ages ago (and was actually what started the entire mini-arc), but I decided to scrap it for a few reasons. First, it was a little too similar in format to some other comics and also I decided to spin the comic a little more towards Duncan over Eddie (especially since every arc has been about Eddie basically).
Honestly though, after looking at it...
I love this comic. I wanted to have a little bit of a mirror of the True Color comic last year when Duncan comforts Eddie by being all goofy, but I couldn't fit the extra dialogue in the comic, so you get it in bonus panel form!
Also, I think this is the first time I've ever drawn Duncan earnestly being sad in the comics. That man is so hard to make emote with his mouth.
