Batman: Arkham Knight's shameful PC tale is one for the history books. A chaotic mess of controversy with some unprecedented situations, it's a masterclass in how exactly NOT to treat a PC version of a major game release.
It's a meaty story, and one worth recording. Let's pull apart the tangled web, and look at what happened. Thank God for Steam refunds, right?

http://www.thejimquisition.com/2015/06/sonic-runners-review/ Reviews of bad Sonic games just bring out the best in me, I feel. Sad thing is, this could've been good. It sort of IS good... until the ads, pop-ups, microtransactions and general assault on the senses kick in.

On this week’s bat-episode, we talk about how utterly horrible the Batmobile is in Batman: Arkham Knight. We also
natter about the shoddy PC port, which hadn’t been pulled from Steam when we’d recorded.
There’s plenty of other chat too. We talk about Her Story for a bit, Laura eats horrific chocolate, and there is much shagging in Fallout Shelter to discuss.

Never thought I'd be disappointed with a game featuring The Scarecrow as a lead villain, but life is full of surprises, huh?

The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight is pretty disappointing. How disappointing? Let the horde of Metacritic user reviewers tell you!

It was an undeniably strong E3 2015 last week, with little room for upset. Unless you're a Metroid fan, obviously. After days of strong representation, exciting new games, Final Fantasy VII, and a PC showcase that lasted seventeen hours, it's time to get back down to earth.
Let's chat about Shenmue 3, shall we? The game tore the roof off the place when it was unveiled, but questions a...

Laura Kate comes to us LIVE from the E3 2015 press room as we discuss everything that went down during a surprisingly excellent event. Xbox did good, Sony did good, Square Enix... well... Square Enix had a big round headed guy, at least.
We go through all the pressers, from Bethesda to Nintendo, and talk about the stuff we liked, and maybe didn't like so much. Also, Gavin definitely g...

Remember when I said I'd do an episode about Unity Engine being good, and instead whined about amiibo a whole bunch? Well, it's finally time to pay the piper, and stick up for an engine that's gone through a lot of abuse lately.
Let's balance the scales and get to it, shall we?

Steam has finally delivered some basic customer service in the form of a refund policy. This is a good thing. A damn good thing. A long overdue, much needed, very good thing.
Naturally, this means there's a debate about it with some people saying it's a bad thing. A number of developers and even games press pundits have criticized the move.
They're basically wrong, ...

On this week’s podcast, we manage to get a whole lot of conversation in about Fallout 4 and Steam’s refund policy, both of which made the show fly by!
We also provide our predictions for E3, and by that I mean Laura has become legitimately scary and might very well be in line to direct a new Hostel movie. Good lord.

Amiibo can go take a running jump at this point. After the abysmal mess that was Wave 4's launch, and the continued benefit to scumbags that these things provide, I'm done.
Splatoon was the final straw - a great game in its own right, with amiibo functionality that genuinely justifies the "glorified DLC" accusations I've defended amiibo from in the past. It's kind of worse though - be...

On this week's vile excuse for a show, Laura finally gets The Witcher 3 working, but doesn't play it. She also eats horrible dogfood-chocolate stuff, because that's what you're here for.
In addition, we chat splatcore about Splatoon, regard Digital Homicide's latest meltdown extravaganza, and delight in how being tired apparently makes Gavin really quite talkative!

Despite capitulating to fan demand and making Max Australian in the new Mad Max game, it seems Avalanche Studios will still boast a predominantly American cast.
Is it nitpicking to find this a problem? I don't think so, and explain why in this editorial.
