Here's my long-promised honest attempt with Ellie. I was inspired by Seven to attempt upscaling the textures to 16k, something I will not be repeating as both Blender and my gpu rebelled many times. I did a few things differently here in terms of shaders and rendering. I'm pretty happy with the results! Feels like the pp is a little superfluous in the end. Your thoughts?

SO. Yeah. This still needs a lot of work. I realized just now that I need to totally redo her mouth. After that the shaders bc her normals are hiiiiiigh. I think I'll tweak the lighting a bit more too.

This was one of my earliest works and it just wasn't coming together like I'd hoped.
Should I pick it back up? I think I'm good enough to salvage it now.
I've got a bunch of ladies I'd like to work with, but how about you all help me decide which one is first up?

I simp for this girl bad. She's just so cute. Anyway, I imagine this is how Cloud's night could have ended if he'd just accepted her offer for pizza. He only has eyes for Tifers, I guess.
I succeeded more than I failed here, but I'm still not fully satisfied with what I'm able to do with her model. I'm going to keep doing my best to improve!

If you're at all interested in my process, this image represents basically the halfway point.
I have the pose, sculpt and shaders mostly done, but I still need to finish the environment (sculpt bed, add more lights, etc). After that it's ready to render and then I take it into After Effects and Photoshop for fixes and final polish.

I wasn't really sure I'd ever do a patreon so I did not develop an efficient workflow when it comes to removing watermarks. I will not have them on works in the patreon archives going forward, but it would be a little too much effort to remove them on old stuff.
I am open to going back and making the attempt if I get a specific request, however!
I'm always trying to get better at 3D art, but I'd love to get some input on what you might want to see most from me in the near future.
