Desert wip 3

Now you can finally make it to the palace and meet the king. Wasn't able to get everything I wanted for this ready, but it works, and I'm cutting the story here. Next month we'll be giving a shine to everything we already have done. Adding real assets over placeholders, finishing buildings and, in general making the area feel more complete.

Cutscene art for this months wip

Finished the art from last week. I'm going to try animating some drifting steam and Lotta's hand doing a little squeeze. Nothing too crazy but the full scene should be  cute when it's in the game.

It's been a pretty busy week and this months wip needs a lot of art or placeholder stuff that I still have to make, so instead of posting any other kind of fan art I'll probably be posting whatever I end up making for the game like this cutscene sketch.

Desert wip 2

Here's the dungeon where the last wip left off. It's a bit short, but I was trying a lot of new ideas so everything took me a little longer. Let me know how you feel about the new dungeon ideas. I'd like to try making more like these sometime.

Screenshots: Wip next weekend for $10 patreons

I tried to make a new kind of dungeon this time. A sort of reaction and timing based one that involves dodging fireballs and spike traps. It's not too hard to do, but man it was hard to make. I've never tried this before and it made rpgmaker angry. Took me awhile to work everything out. I should have it ready enough to play by next weekend if nothing goes wrong and makes it explode.

Started working on the wip for this month. I've got most of the maps done for it, and I've added a few empty inside areas from the last wip. Going to try a new type of obstacle course sort of dungeon to see how people feel about them. I'll have that out for $10 patreons sometime later this month.

Desert town wip 1

The first work in progress for the next area is now in a playable state. It also contains the bad end for the elf boss. I tried something new so let me know what you think.
Keep in mind that this is an extreme work in progress so there are likely to be a lot of bugs and placeholder assets. Please report any bugs you find to me so I can fix them.

I'll try to have a desert town wip up next week

For now all I have is these screen shots. As you can probably see I've got a ton of placeholder npcs in this town right now because I don't have any art ready. I usually do that last. I've got everything leading up the the first dungeon in this village roughed out now though, so while there are no new sprites or big lady drawings yet you can get a sense of where the area's story is heading here...

A drawing I made while hashing out the ideas for the next village in the game. I'm still in the early stages of making it but I am going to release a wip build sometime this month regardless of what state it's in so people can see what's going on.

Cave build ready for $5 patrons

The cave area is now ready for $5 patrons. Let me know if you find any bugs please. I left the dream area in here too so you can test that if you want, but it's really unfinished right now.  I'll finish that and the bad end before starting on the next town.

Cave WIP2 and dream wip

This is pretty much it for the cave. I just need to work on one little fight and that whole thing is done. I'm also working on the elf town bad end, and a short dream event I'm going to be adding in between sleeping at the inn and going to Tabrey's house. Something I made while waiting for a friend to wake up and help me with part of the goblin event in the cave. I also got a lot of the drawings for that done this weekend too. 

Working on animating a scene for the cave

People that played the wip from earlier this month might remember what this is about, but for everyone else I've been trying to add more drawings to the game, and slowly work on both my art and animation skills now that my sprites are decent enough. Depending on how this goes I'll try to do more animated scenes if I can. I promise they wont all be goblins either.

Update is like 99% done. Just some bugs with the boss fight I'd like to fix first. If I can't get it 100% how it should be I'll just make it possible to win and send it out. I should also note that there wont be any bad end in this update. I think I'd rather do most of them separately when I get more of the story done in the future.

First looks at Edenglean

I got a lot done over the weekend. The list of things I've got left to finish isn't very long now. Some cutscene drawings, a new bad end, and I'd like at least one side quest before I consider everything ready.
