My money situation has not improved all that much and it's getting harder to continue everything. I just don't have a very good mental safety net, and everything I could do to fix it would take time away from writing. I don't want to do art commissions, I want to keep writing. I went ahead and redid a lot of this chapter, but not all of it. Mostly the Duke's dialogue. Added some foreshadowing, removed all references to the 2 month time limit.
One day when I'm actually doing deep edits, the rest of this chapter will be touched up I'm sure but for now I'm just focused on getting all the fixes out of the way as fast as possible.

It all follows the same structure, but everything is rewritten and rephrased. Lot of the jokes have been altered to work better, added some new ones, added more foreshadowing to Opal's dialogue, those are the main ones.
Went from a 3,000 word chapter to 3 chapters totalling 5,100 words.
I'm progressing smoothly with the rewrites.
