Silent Smile in general can be read as a stand alone series, so you don't have to read L&M to know what's going on, and for a while, I treated it as such, and some readers read it that way too, and probably thought it's just a normal slice of life in a normal world, (without reading L&M) until cat girls out of nowhere, started popping up, caught some people off guard and basically show...

Endearing

Sophia and Sasha have a moment and discuss Jonathan.

Sasha's answer leads Sophia to be confused, though it's easy to overlook red flags and incompatible signals when being in the moment, she could even find it endearing.

But as time goes on, those endearing feelings fade away, and the feeling of annoyance really starts to surface.
