Literally a doodle. I used to get annoyed when artists refer to more completed works as doodles but the amount of time and attention spent on this was so low that it feels to me more like a doodle than something I spent 4 hours on while watching YouTube shorts.

I think my hand might be better now

Well over a month has passed, along with a bottle of painkillers, copper compression gloves, and generally resting my hand more often, has resulted in the first day where I'm not feeling pain when I hold my pen. Still, I'm going to be very wary of my hand health going forward.

My hand is healing

I can only draw for 3-4 ish hours if I take many short breaks throughout. It seems that my hand issues were part of larger nerve issue extending all the way up to my shoulder, causing phantom stings of pain midday in my palm and fingers, along with a burning sensation in my elbow. But you know how when you go to the doctor's office as they ask you on a scale of 1-10 to rate the pain? It's like ...

To recap. In February we had to put my dog down, and the resulting stress and anxiety from that lead to injuring my hand earlier this month due to repetitive wrist strain while drawing, meaning that I've been unable to draw ever since.

I said, if I am unable to produce what I feel is adequate then I would pause this billing cycle and not charge you.
