I tried to stick with colors of Mercy's classic skin. I didn't want to make the prop so I went looking for a mesh that I just had to texture, but couldn't find one that looked good. Especially when the fan started folding up.

The actual Caribbean Resort map didn't change much from the Swimsuit set. The sunlight is a bit closer to IRL values so when exporting to Affinity Photo keeping the colors realistic is easier. The sunlight was a bit too cold in the Swimsuit set, so I had to adjust the white balance every render. For 1 image its not a lot of work but to keep a consistent color over several sets was annoying.

Yeowwch, was the rendering for this one a pain. The dust particles was causing really bad glitching when I had to stitch the frames together.
I turned up the samples and lowered the noise threshold to get a sharper render, at the cost of time.
It worked out in the end, as you can see!

I bought more gun meshes to texture! So there are some more choices! After the glock, I don't really know the names of... There is no legend to tell me what they are.

Built a personalized P99 for Dva! I think it looks sick!! With that there needed to be a holster to carry it. I was going to do a holster for Brigitte's turn, but her skirt wouldn't really work with it.
The IFAK was built just to kind of fill out the chest rig a little bit. Definitely will fit Mercy's look more.
Remember set comes out on the 15th!

With the BTS images, the NPC "crowds" are kinda small. I had to use a really tight shot on the camera to make it so that the NPCs that I could use would actually fill up the screen.
There was lots of visual clutter while working. Rigs, lights, relationship lines... Just ugh...

When designing my shots for this set, I practiced a thing called "Building for the Camera"
You can see as depending on how tight the shots are or where the camera is assets might shift. Or if I feel like the background is lacking, I'll add a prop. The moving truck for example.
