Marched myself into a salon and got the bangs on my Rise, Perona, and Asuka wigs ready for this weekend. My appointment was for 6 but the previous client's appointment ran late so I didn't get into the chair until 7:30. 😥
Fortunately all three were cut before the mall closed! It needs more styling, but now you can see my eyes when I wear Asuka's wig!

Jeepers! I am SO disappointed that my Halloween photo plans fell through and that I was too busy sewing and moving into my apartment to do ANYTHING spooky for you guys this month.
That being said, one doesn't need October to be spooky. I will make up for this AFTER DAISHO!

Having lots of fun but also lots of S T R E S S this weekend. Some unexpected setbacks at our FunkSoul table, sleeping in, and forgetting my corset at home were just some of the problems.

Just a gathering of materials. Will also use Flareon's boots! 👍 I like picking fabrics with fun textures when I can. That's my only problem with Silky - she is almost 100% boring ol' stiff cotton. xP Rise will also feature a lot of twill, but at least she gets shiny trim and leatherette legs.

I have ordered 5 pairs (these 4 plus the original blue pair that I used for Ann and Junko) of contacts that will hopefully arrive before Daishocon. There's a killer sale on Pinky Paradise right now. 😍 What you may not know is contacts expire! Some last a whole year after you open them, so I always buy those. The madness continues. First my swatch colour was too dark and the fabric too flimsy. I order two new different fabrics to test and made my print lighter in two shades... Now it is TOO light and the colours are virtually indistinguishable. Help! xD I must order this soon if I am to have the fabric here in time to sew it...
