Going off of that radial mobile plant I did earlier, I tried to make an even further derived Plantimal. This one is about 3 inches long including the feeler leaves and has a true digestive track with a distinct mouth and anus! Very fancy.

Some of the most common weapons in scud world history are leg and foot blades. Although hooks and swords can be held with their dexterous tentacles, the legs are stronger, and less fleshy and venerable. Scud fights, especially on dry land, look at lot like cockfights. Even if unarmed, a scud will first attempt to defend or attack with their leg claws.

Thinking about space clothes..... they have to be something comfy that doesn't need to be washed a lot, like a jacket. Space washing machines are usually only found in space stations and gate stations (if you're lucky) and showers are even more rare. Thankfully, deodorant and wiping yourself down with a wet rag is effective enough for ~2 week long trips in space.

Talita was left on a orphanage step shortly after pupation (in a pet carrier, since infant centaurs can RUN). She was the only nonhuman there, as it was a Terran ecosystem bubble. The orphanage had to buy a centaur food printer just to feed her. Here she is about 3 years old and growing fast. The fellow orphans are about 7.

So far I think what I'm going for with the neck and head joint is something like wrist bones, with a lot of cartilage. Drawing guts stuff for aliens is tough because everything is layered on top of each other and there's only so much you can portray at once with lines and colors.
I was thinking about ergonomics for centaurs... compared to the other races they have fairly stiff hands and arms, and humans are basically the only race with lips that can fully seal. Avians probably have even more exaggerated cup spouts than this, since they basically need to pour drinks down their throats... ferrets have a hummingbird like tube-tongue, so they slurp down drinks with their built...
