iPad warmup doodle (Koseki Bijou, Hololive)

I've got some neck and shoulder issues that are suspected to be repetitive stress-related from drawing at my desk, and the doc suggested switching things up more -- either with a standing desk, or different postures. I'll be getting a standing desk later this year (hopefully) but for now I'm making do by trying to use my iPad more.

I don't know where this idea came from, exactly...I just wanted to try to tell a story with a single drawing and a caption, and here's what sprang to mind.

The colors for this took longer than anything else, but I think I finally settled on something that was both atmospheric and readable.

Iru POV NSFW (part 1) (Iru May, Original)

I sketched out a few Iru May POV shots -- originally the plan was to lightly clean them all up at once and have a whole page of panels to post today, but I decided to do a full color cleaned up version of each and finish them one at at a time. When they're all done, I'll compile them into a single page for maximum enjoyment. 😤

Watched the debuts of Hololive EN's 3rd gen this weekend -- my favorites were Shiorin and Rissa, but I liked them all.

Shiori is a Harvest Moon fan, so I thought it'd be fun to draw her in the classic watercolor style of Matsuyama Igusa. It's good practice for me, too, trying out different styles and coloring techniques. I think it turned out cute...hopefully you guys enjoy, too!

I watched Shin Kamen Rider on streaming this weekend, and...it was fucking awesome. I also wanted a new lock screen. So, here we are!

Awhile back I tried that semi-stylized proportions with Iru -- bigger head, simpler shapes, etc. -- and I really liked it. I haven't practiced it much since, and I wanted to give Kiwa some more character, so I tried it on her, too! Ended up throwing a Paz in there for scale as well.

I definitely need to work on this style more, because I think it has a ton of potential. I wouldn't abandon...

Tree Emojis (Gardenia, Pokemon)

I started this with a very different idea -- it was going to be manga-style, all black-and-white and screentones. I kept just a hint of that in here, but otherwise I felt like adding color gave it more liveliness and warmth. Gardenia is cute (belly!) and so is Hoppip (but in a very different way).

Overall, it didn't turn out quite the way I wanted, but I still like it.

This is the other new oppai mousepad design! I originally planned a fairly elaborate painted beach background, but I felt like it took away from the actual focus (Paz and her Pazes).

Still not sure when I'll be ordering them, but I can tell you that A. I'm gonna order more stock next time and B. I will definitely give everyone a heads-up before the shop goes live this time.

I pulled 5 Texas Alters so far, so -- felt like a good time to draw her. 😌🙏

I tried to push the colors in some cool ways! Orange and blue is always a nice combo.  I originally had some crazy pure-black shading cutting the composition in half, but I felt like it didn't read very well. Might have to try something like that again in the future with a more simple subject.
