In anger at the bad behavior of the sculptor, I got a move on and I was almost done on Wednesday.
I must admit that I have never done so much in a few days of work! :D
However, now with the models we are fine. I just have to divide the sculptures (Aphrodite and Wednesday) and then it's time to print!

Also this month we have Matteo as a collaborator on the sculptures for August. This month specifically deals with Maggie, one of the protagonists of the series The Walking Dead.
Maggie is still in its infancy, but I wanted to show you the progress in the sculpture!

Harley Quinn, Shampoo and Dana Scully are finally ready to be printed and painted.
Working with other sculptors, explaining how you want the sculpture, making revisions etc. it is a type of experience that I had never had before, but which certainly paid off. Matteo and Jasson turned out to be excellent sculptors...

This evening, at least in Italy, we are going to see the prints of the prototypes of the three sculptures for July, Harley Qiuinn by Matteo "MatLefties3D" (mat_lefties_3d on Instagram), Dana Scully by Jasson "jassonmissy" (Jessencm14 on Instagram) and my Shampoo.
Let's see how they are printed and let's assemble them together!

I wanted to share the first sculpting steps for the goddess Aphrodite, as you can see from the screenshots there is a lot to do both on the body and on the hair, but I wanted to show you some working steps.
As always in this phase everything is sketchy, but I think we can already guess the potential of this sculpture...

I also thought of a themed base with the series logo to recall the sculpted character in a more realistic version than in the manga version.
There will be two versions, one with a long dress and one with a slightly more lewd short dress... :D

However the renders that Jasson sent me are very attractive, the resemblance is undeniable and the model well done.

I went ahead with the Shampoo sculpture, the dress is almost complete, I just have to see the movement of the skirt a little better. I also added some details to both the dress and the hair, such as clips to the locks and buns.
I still have to work on the hands and a little bit on the facial expression, but I think it's a nice project for now...<...
