Which feels on the lighter size, but this picture was somewhat spontaneous in nature and an opportunity for me to test out some brushes I've been wanting to work with for a while; consequently my attention was drawn more to the picture than it was properly documenting it. This is a picture I had a very clear vision of in terms of composition and colour, I really knew what I wanted to do with this one and I think the development shows that. Bounty hunting often leads to seedy locations on the galactic rim, especially in the places humans don't venture often, if at all: Federation controlled space can feel clean and safe, which is what makes the parts they don't so thrilling... I think this set is cool because it went very smoothly, but you'll also get to see the power of eyeliner in action (images 19-21). I sort of wanted to go harder on the shiney parts of her outfit but decided to keep it simple, it was meant to be a sketch after all. Watch out of the background colour switch jumpscare.
