More secret sketchbook stuff! Turns out part of being an artist is just being interested in random stuff all the time. Sometimes it's sketches on how how an open jaw looks in perspective, this time it's how all those colors get into bushes and clouds 😅

Here's an update on a few commissions I'm currently working on! I've finished the Hex Maniac works, the lines and flats for the Sothe/Astrid and OC pieces, and am currently working on a Reina expression sheet and Elincia/Lucia piece 👍

More Colored Sketches!

Added color to the Edeleth and gl sketch pages! I've given some 3H characters some more love as well since I was in the mood to 😅 This time it's Ingrid/Slyvain, Felix/Annete, and Hilda/Claude. Some minor edits on the Tharbin and Corrin/Felicia pages as well so I decided to put include them here 👍

I'll likely do a few more of these once I finish coloring to add as a set for my gumroa...

More sketches and studies! Decided to bring out Ada again for some practice at loose comic making! The process is still very time consuming, but there's definitely an appeal that I can't scratch with non-sequential art that I enjoy. ✌

Here's a few WIP shots of the current commissions I'm working on! I've completed the RobinxLucina piece and have completed the lines and flats on a large Blazing Blade group shot! The third one is a Hilda x Citrinne piece. Additionally I'm working on another character sheet which I'll share later once I've sent an initial pass by the client 👍

Studies and WIP

Been fascinated by simplifying shadows and cel style shading recently. Also tried my hand at some rudimentary 3d/2d integration! It's pretty fun if not a bit prohibitory in many aspects. I included a quick Lucina cel shading test as well--I'm not sure if I've quite got the process down yet, but I'm getting there! Edeleth + Mouth Studies

Decided to do some studies on how open mouths actually look and function anatomically. I feel like I've been able to draw it well enough but haven't actually really understood. I've thrown in the transparency for the Byleth Legging pattern as well!

I decided to go ahead and finish up that Zelink sketch by making it into a quick series as well. I've also been really feeling the Twilight Princess itch come around, so you may see a few more TP sketches moving forward as I doodle the characters as warmups or downtime 😅
