I made this fake anime screenshot to feature on a screen in my entry for Hardcover 4. It's going to be very small in the final piece, so small I needed to pixel-art up the legibility of the subs. But it's a fun lil easter egg. Kinda taken with the idea of turning it into a finished piece and like, print a fake anime teeshirt....

I coloured this like I did the others in the series, but it seemed kinda flat at that level of detail, so I added some shading and blush and rim lights. Rim lights are basically the most fun thing to draw

Harcover 2024

I think I am going to try to pull together a piece to submit to Hardcover 2024, the fourth installment of the sexy art artbook that I think is really cool. iPod and Tama sharing

Some more work on this. I am trying a new thing where I do art in the morning and then do work work after lunch. Drawing is much less straining for me than typing, but doing the typing first makes my arm feel too tiredy to motivate to draw. We will see how my motivation to do work work is impacted lol.

iPod and Tama

More sketchbook stuff. I think I'll probably develop this into a finished piece. For one-off illustrations I often find it easier to find references of interesting poses and dynamics, and experiment with reconstructing them and seeing what life I can put into them with my chars or new fabrications.

Anim sketch pass

Sketch pass of the anim has its own charm I think. I've always struggled to work out an animation finishing technique I really like. I wish toon boom harmony had CSP's brush engine

Sboop

Animation seems to come abruptly when I least expect it. This was inspired by a lewd gif; I've been collecting more spicy gifs since the reference software I use, PureRef, released a beta 2.0 version with gif support. Very cool stuff

I made a few different versions. Not sure how bitcrushed I like it. The 2-colour one is pretty cool tho

Here is the finished sheet of all the images together! Second image is me looking at placement were this a sticker sheet. I think it would be cool to make a full sticker sheet, maybe even with all three Defunct Tech Demons, but the investment to get them externally printed as sheets is pretty high, so my next goal is to get one each of these gals printed (if people seem into them).

Tama and PDA Demons Sketch

I don't think I've posted this yet, but I started working on it again. Here is a page of sketches of Tama and PDA demons, part of a series I have conceived of “Sexy Defunct Tech Demons”. I think they are very cute!

PDA I think will be green/teal/grey themed, and Tama will prominently feature yellow, I haven't worked out the specifics yet.

I cleaned up a cute dev sketch of these two. I've ordered some samples of this pic from Printful as holographic stickers to see if the quality is good enough to sell. My experience w Printful stickers has been poor so far, but the wort one were the ones printed at their partner facility in Australia, whereas the holo ones are only printed in the US, and the sample I already got was sorta ok.
