Doodled this up the other day, both to get an idea on paper, and to use as simply some more sphinx practice.
The idea was fairly simple to start. The ring tf concept, except with two rings, at different locations, and the size difference in the ring causes a size different in the subject that passes through them.
From there it kinda evolved into an experiment gone wrong....

For Malcolm. If a Winter Wolf is ice themed, a Summer Wolf would thus be Fire themed, right? And a Spring Wolf, well that'd be plant themed. And also Shadow Wolves are part of this equation too, I'm just not sure where.

When I was considering what the full form of this guy would be, this is one of the ideas I sketched. Ended up liking it so, I did a quick digital ink and color of it.
I don't know if this would be the canon result, but it might be. Other options would be feral or a male anthro.

A magic ring. On one side, human, on the other, beast. But the two are not 1:1, with the beast being a different size or shape than the human, so things don't come out at the same speed they go in. I find the resulting imbalance and contradictions on how it'd work interesting.

I need to get a rather sudden back surgery. Which is going to happen tomorrow. Estimated recovery is 6-8 weeks, and I don't know if and/or when I'll be able to draw during that recovery. We shall see after tomorrow.
