Sometimes older sketches do not stand the test of time, like in this case, the more time I spent inking this piece, the more I didn't like it.
Composition here failed, with too much background than necessary and the characters felt cramped into the bottom corner. Not to mention the overall mood of the scene didn't fit the short story I imagined for it.
