Keep Your Hands Off Vampire Killer!

I saw that the opening for Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! is generating something of a meme right now, so I figured I'd join in, since I have a few characters that look pretty good in those shots. So here that is!

The sharp, sickening yellow background works well, thematically, with the Vampire Queen, but I'm always apprehensive about this colour. I wanted to change it into something that ...

[Concept Art] Some Amaranth Thoughts

Although I was not originally intending to focus so much on Amaranth's design in this post, it ended up being the focus over the last week or so. I've talked a bit about Amaranth in a previous post, which you can find [HERE].

I spent some time exploring various ideas about the Beaumont universe, ...

Vacuous Brellomaid

Thank you for your patience!

This illustration was inspired by an idea sent by a Dungeon Master patron. It's a mindwipe'd brellomascot maid. I'm not entirely sure if all of the illustrations for this reward tier will look like this, but, until I figure that out, I'm cool with keeping at it.

Although I had initially planned to fill the glasses, I later found appeal i...

Link, because of course...

Thank you for your patience!

Unlike the last few major illustrations, I made a greater effort to create a piece that looked a bit more organic in nature. There are all these contrasting angles in the arms, flowing cloth, and hair too. But this organic quality is also present in the brushwork too. There's much less cleanliness and less airbrushing throughout the piece, and if you look clos...

Just a quick update, and I want to thank you for your patience.

Sweater Cookies

This piece got away from me after I applied the colours, so it is, in my opinion, not finished. But I wanted to be done with it, and I'm sure you're not going to be bothered by it as much as I am, so here we go.

Like the last few illustrations, I spent longer than usual on this piece. It is a tiny bit larger in scope though, so that might be why I'm not content with it. The work features ...

[Concept] Thoughts on a Zelda Comic pt1

Just a few months ago, I created my first real comic -- Beaumount (Prototype). It definitely served as good practice for future comics I may do some day… like a Legend of Zelda comic!

Oh snap, did you SEE that segue? Man, I'm REALLY good at this words thing!

Anyway. I've previously talked about wanting to create comics set within the Legend of Zelda universe, but I have not quite ...

Holiday Illustration - Christmas Link

Oh, Christmas Link, oh Christmas Link...

Another installment in the "I spent longer to work on this piece than usual" series of works. By allowing myself more time on illustrations like these, I can produce them at a higher level of polish than you might usually expect from my quicker works.

It was good to draw a Christmas-themed illustration, since I really do so last year. One of ...

The Future of my Patreon - 2020 Edition

We're nearing the end of 2019, and like every year, that means it's time to reflect on what has happened and look forward to the following year. My Patreon has come a long way since it started 3-4 years ago, thanks to your support, and I hope it will continue to get even better.

The month is almost over, so I thank you for your patience.

This piece is a bit rougher than I'd have liked, but I wanted to get a second piece out this month and I was interested in experimenting with brush control. Though I did wind up colouring this a tiny bit faster than I expected to -- not sure if that will always be the case with this style.
