Just released a teaser. As for EP9's development. It's going is all I can say. Right now render count is at 714 renders. And the script line count is over 5000 lines. (for comparison EP8 had 595 renders and 4200 lines). EP9's render count will prolly break 1K before it's done.

No, I'm not taking a break from working. I'm taking a break from the looming pressure of taking payments but not delivering anything.
EP9 is gonna take a while yet and continuing to charge money while I work on it is stressing me out big time. Pausing charges will relieve that.

I know I've been quiet for ages. I'm still alive and still working on the game full time. Haven't release any teasers before today because I was working on a big scene at Eli's garage.

After that, I have to do a scene with Officer Monroe to further one of the subplot as well as flesh out his character's back story some. And finally towards the end there's a big branching path.

Work on EP9 has started. I've finished working on the preliminary outfits the characters will wear, I've also finished the basic outline of what's going to happen in this episode. So the actual rendering and writing work has now started.
Won't be any teasers for a while coz the first few scenes have nothing but dudes in it. I'll beg...

EP8 is now out for everybody. Work on EP9 still hasn't started. I'm still stuck on bonus 6. It's maybe 70% complete. Got a little overambitious with it and it's taking a lot of time. New environment, new outfits, doing stuff I've never done before. Right now doing some animations for it. So yeah... my bad.
Next time around I'll try to keep the scope from creeping out of control so ...
Bonus 6 is maybe 40% done. Here's the probable main menu background to serve as a teaser on the setting. Dunno yet which one I'm gonna use.

Hey guys. I took some time off to relax, do nothing and play some games. But I'm back to working on HH. Started on ep8's bonus a few days ago. Making the environment and working on the characters. Started working on the actual episode a couple days ago. I should have something to show about it in the coming days.

2021-02-25 01:31:34 +0000 UTC View PostEp8 is almost done. Renders done, testing done, the script is done. It's now out for proofreading. Once I get it back, just need to test it one last time and do the final build and get it out. So should be ready in the next couple of days.
In the mean time I've been chilling a bit and having some fun. This is the result. The 1971 Skyline GTR or "Hakosuka". And Em of course.

In the meantime here's a Valentine's Day render. First one is normal and the second one has some painterly effects on it.

I skipped Halloween so here's an early Christmas present. Featuring Sam, Ash, Emily and Monroe as Santa. Don't think I'll do a new years render. These things take a lot of time and I'm already behind on EP8.
