24 hour comic day: Heavy Fog

Hello, everyone!

I participated in this year's 24 Hour Comic Day, and completed this ten-page horror comic.

This is different from Hourly Comic Day, which is in February-- that's when you draw a comic about every hour you're awake (autobio), whereas 24 Hour Comic Day is when you draw one page of a comic for every hour of the day (usually fiction). I've never done 24 Hour Comic Day b...

New Scarlet Hollow backgrounds!

Tony and I are hard at work on a patch for early October, which includes a few new assets for Street Smart players... (among many other additions)!

We're all settled into our new place after the big move this summer, and I'll be able to get to work on the new backgrounds and sprites for Episode 3, which is very exciting. Gonna be a lot of fun art to share pretty soon!

Recent backgrounds!

Still hard at work on Episode 2-- here are a handful of non-spoiler backgrounds I've finished in the past week or so. I've also attached a couple of them as files y'all can download, if you'd like!

Working on backgrounds is so peaceful; it's my favorite part of making the game, honestly. I love playing with composition and figuring out what kind of stuff different characters would populat...

Oops I made a new comic

Just a silly little idea I'll be posting over on twitter occasionally! Started out by saying "I won't make this but it's fun" but that quickly evolved into "oh oops I made ten of them"

These are super easy to do and don't get in the way of The Last Halloween or Scarlet Hollow-- just a fun lil thing to wake up and do in the mornin before settling in for the real work.

Another fancy background

I finished up the piece from yesterday's stream! I'm pretty happy with this one. I tried to push myself with the lighting and was worried it'd wind up a big mess, but I'm proud of how it turned out. Here you can see all the stages from pencils to final piece.
