I'm back once again with another Revisited post! This time I returned to the City Boulevard and my most recent map, the Caravan Camp, and made a few extra changes. Also, if this is the first of these posts you've seen- this is a little extra content I like to make monthly for my Adept, Expert, and Master patrons, usually using your suggestions, so be sure to let me know if there are any ways yo...

Hi everyone, this week's map is the Caravan Camp (30x30), and alongside it is the Open Plains (30x30)! These two were the last I'll be making from the previous poll, and since they seemed to work together well and struck me as a little simplistic, I thought it would be fitting to bundle them together. That said, it's just about time for a new poll- so start bombarding me with your recommendatio...

Here's the Caravan Camp (30x30), as well as the Open Plains (30x30)! According to my schedule I was supposed to make the Open Plains this week, but after thinking about it for a couple days I decided that nothing I could do would make the map worth charging you for. Thankfully the next map down, the Caravan Camp, is by definition a concept that can be brought anywhere, so I felt that this...

Hi Experts and Masters! This week's map is the Caravan Camp (30x30), plus the Open Plains (30x30), which is just the camp map but without all the props. My schedule says I was supposed to make these maps on two different weeks, but making an Open Plains map for a full week sounds boring, so I didn't do it!
Your alternate versions this time are a Desert version and a Fall version. I didn't...

I'm back once again with a fresh island map, the Island Hut (30x30)! I've been playing a fair bit of Sea of Thieves recently and it gave me the itch to whip up another little island of my own, this time with a little house perched on top which may have been somewhat inspired by Kame House, though obviously I didn't lean too far into that. I could easily see a hermit living alone out here on the...

Hello Adepts! This week's map is the Island Hut (30x30), and I whipped up a version of it without the hut for you so you do whatever you need to do with this island. And, of course, I also made a night version of the Modest Island, so you'll have appropriate lighting for when you cram every inch of this place with pirate ghosts, which I highly recommend.

Hi Experts and Masters! This week I made the Island Hut (30x30), a fun place for your party to take a well-deserved vacation and maybe have a beach episode. Unfortunately it seems there was a mix-up at the front desk and there's only one bed in the hut, but I'm sure your druid won't mind sleeping outside anyway.
Your alternate versions for this map are two weather effects, Stormy an...

Hello folks! This week I made the Razed Temple (26x26), another of my destroyed city maps, but isolated to one building. I made sure to not establish what kind of temple it was, such as a temple of Bahamut or Asmodeus, so you won't have to tell your players to ignore any angel/demon/dragon statues I scattered around the rubble. So, while it might be a touch on the small side for some, it should...

Hi Adepts! This week's map is the Razed Temple (26x26), which probably was once a nice place to worship miscellaneous gods before I got my hands on it. Notice that there aren't any signifiers as to which god was worshipped here, so you should have no problem fitting this map to whichever god you want to piss off.
Your alternate version for this map is a Fey recoloring, in the style of the...

Hello Experts and Masters! This week I made the Razed Temple (26x26), a demolished temple to any god you feel like where your players were way too late to help. I'm actually not terribly sure what kind of story would lead the party here, maybe something where they're hired to investigate the cause of the fire? Or maybe they can loot or prevent looters from stealing from the rubble? Not too sure...

This week's map is the Crumbling Crypt (26x24), one of those maps that's half dungeon/half cave. People usually seem to enjoy the variety this type of map offers, and old nasty crypts are simple additions to any story, so I expect that this will be a useful map for most of you. Just a nice map for many occasions, I think!
Next week I'll be returning to making the last few maps from the po...

Hello Adepts! This week I made the Crumbling Crypt (26x24), an old and nasty tomb with more than a few collapsed walls leading into tunnels and caves. Your alternate version of this one goes a little further than that, cutting the webs from the original version and instead featuring several patches of large mushrooms and a warmer yellowish palette. These changes help change the map's theme away...

Hi Experts and Masters! This week I made the Crumbling Crypt (26x24), a cool place for your intrepid adventurers to do a little grave robbing and pick a fight with the current residents of this old and nasty tomb. I made the original version imply that some kinds of giant bugs have moved in, but you'll notice that the two extra versions that you're getting, Arid and Subdued, do not have any big...

Hello again, Adept, Expert, and Master patrons! I return with another Revisited post, only a few months late. Don't worry though, since I've revisited a map for each month that has passed, fulfilling my promises late but eventually.
This time around, I decided to take passes at a few of my recent favorite maps. Firstly, I went back to the Roadside Watchtower, removing the watchtower with ...

Hello everyone! This week's map is the Roadside Watchtower (30x26), a kinda rare one since it has both interiors and exteriors as well as multiple floors. I can't believe I never got around to making a map like this before, since it seems like every mapmaker on the block has made something similar.
I had a bit of a hard time laying this one out, but I think I ended up with a pretty simple...

Hello Adepts! This week's map is the Roadside Watchtower (30x26), a simple map with a somewhat complicated design. Maps with both interiors and exteriors are always tricky to lay out and shade, and since this one has 4 floors it's a little more difficult than usual. We'll get into that in a second.
Your alternate version for this map is a dramatic Foggy recoloring! I liked the thoug...

This week's map is the Roadside Watchtower (30x26), a common enough location that probably has a place in any campaign. Honestly, I don't know how it took me so long to make a bridge and watchtower map, it feels like it's probably somewhere in the top 100 fantasy locations to have a scrap. Anyway, I've made it now, so I can make other things next.
Your alternate versions for this week are...

Hi Patrons! This week I made a map from off of the poll, the Dreary Dungeon (18x23)! I felt like making something of my own choosing instead of continuing with the winners from the last poll, and I settled with a nice prison dungeon which I've been intending on making for some time. Now, it isn't some sort of huge jail complex, but rather the sort of place you might find beneath a fort or castl...

Hello Adepts, this week's map is the Dreary Dungeon (18x23), a compact complex of cells with enough space for your law-breaking party to spend a few nights and think about what they did. Your extra version of this one is a somewhat subdued version, which I'm calling 'Grim'. Rather, it's one where I've recolored it to have a less colorful and more typical dungeon-y palette, since I figured my gr...

Hi folks! This week I made the Dreary Dungeon, a grimy jail which would be a perfect fit for a mid-sized town or a fort, featuring just enough space to keep a handful of troublemakers locked away and few secure cells for long term residents.
Your extra versions this time are warmer and colder varieties, which will be nice for either setting! I thought it would be handy especially to...

Hello everyone, this week I made the Barbarian Village (30x30), a small walled settlement in the woods! When this map was first suggested, the patron who wanted it mentioned that they wanted something like Conan the Barbarian's (the 1982 one with Arnold Schwarzenegger) childhood village, and since I'm a big fan of that movie I was pretty pumped when it did well in the poll. In the movie, ...

Hi Adepts! This week I made the Barbarian Village (30x30), which I made to be reminiscent of Conan's home village from the 1982 movie. I made several adjustments to make it feel more barbarian-y than druidic, though I did try to cut the difference down the middle so that it can be useful for situations other than exactly a village of barbarians.
Your alternate version for this map is one ...

Hi Experts and Masters! Your map this time is the Barbarian Village (30x30), a small walled settlement that can just as easily be a regular forest outpost in a pinch. I'm sure you can come up with some interesting setups for a place like this, but at the very least it can offer a roof to adventurers as they trek through a snowy forest or a destination for heroes who are out to kick some barbari...

This week's map is the Rocky Forest (25x25), a return to my personal favorite setting- forests! I didn't have enough time this week to dive into the Barbarian Village (the 4th place winner from Poll #10), but I have so much experience making forests that I can practically whip one up in my sleep.
This time I decided to make another variation on the Forest Clearing, a version with mo...

Hi Adepts! This week's map is the Rocky Forest (25x25), a nice and simple map with lots of changes in elevation which should make encounters a little more spicy, especially if your players can come up with interesting ways to ascend the rock walls quickly or if they're fighting flying foes.

Hello Experts and Masters! This week I made the Rocky Forest (25x25), a clean and simple map with more exciting terrain than my usual forest clearing. Hi folks! This week's map is the Underdark Ruins (30x30), which came 3rd in Poll #10, and I figured I would get a little funky with it since Underdark maps don't come around all that often around here.
I decided that I would use the Blackreach, a mushroom-filled underground city cavern in Skyrim, as my main point of reference since I really enjoy the lighting and effects in that area. I'm...

Hi again, Adepts! This week's map is the Underdark Wilds (30x30), a shadowy and bioluminescent cave with pieces of old broken buildings scattered about. Hello patrons! This week's map is the City Boulevard (35x34), the runner-up from the last poll. This one is a bit bigger than my usual maps, which almost never get above 30 inches in any direction, but I thought a bustling city thoroughfare ought to have a little more wiggle room than usual.
While it wasn't what I originally intended for this map, I included another canal cutting th...
