Hi again, Adepts! This week I made the Village Creek (35x35), a cozy new addition to my collection of Village maps. In particular, this one heavily features a little creek which cuts through town, offering some fun potential combat opportunities! It's easy to imagine dramatic confrontations on the village bridge, but maybe instead the village is being attacks from creatures that emerge from the...

Hello there, Experts and Masters! This week's map is the Village Creek (35x35), a pleasant roadside farming town for your players to pass through without incident, right? That's right, no reason to even stop really, which makes me wonder why I even made a map for it. Certainly there isn't some conspiracy at play here, no secret cult or organization that all the villagers are a part of, so pleas...

Hi folks! This week I made the Village Gates (30x28), a simple little village with dirt roads and thatch roofs with a wooden wall surrounding it. I figured that I've made plenty of maps of Cities recently and it might be time for me to flesh out smaller settlements, the sort of places your party comes across in the woods somewhere. So, I think I'll spend a little more time here for a little bit...

Hello Adepts, your map this week is the Village Gates (30x28), a fun new map for your party to either assault a little town or defend it, their choice. With that in mind, your alternate version of this map is a spooky misty one, featuring much more grim lighting and colors as well as a thick fog creeping in from the forest. I imagine a scene here where guards on the gate platforms, are defendin...

Hi all, this week's map is the Village Gates (30x28), a pleasant little map if I say so myself! It honestly reminds me of an early town in an MMO, the sort of nice town that has lvl 1 enemies outside for new players to practice combat on, like wolves or rats. Fun!
Anyway, your alternate versions of this map are Fall and Subdued! The Fall version felt required, and I'm not sure I've made o...

Hi everyone! This week's map is the Stone Circle (30x40), a map which was requested several months ago, created in July of last year, and retouched this week. Yup, I took a second pass at it after letting it sit for over 6 months- I suppose my taste in forest maps has changed over the last several months, I ended up making the colors a decent bit more subdued and added more gradients between th...

Hello folks, I'm back this week with the Stone Circle (30x40), a little peninsula with some Stonehenge-type ruins at the peak, a location which will be perfect for druidic rituals, portals to the Feywild, or an absolute rager of a party with some satyrs or other forest-dwelling critters.
Your alternate version of this map is Fey, one of my all time favorite Fey versions! For this on...

Hello everyone! This week's map is the Stone Circle (30x40), a dramatic scene with some crumbling Stonehenge-type ruins near a cliff jutting out over the water. It sorta reminds me of a quest in the Witcher 3 where you need to protect a druid (the goat guy(?)) while he performs a ritual in some ruins on a shorefront, which honestly feels like a pretty solid setup for a combat using this map. Ma...

I'm back! This week's map is the Secluded Oasis (30x30), and it's somehow the first time I've made an oasis map! I could have sworn that I had made one or two of these before, but as it turns out I have never included water in any desert map before now- maybe a fun future map would be to draw a big caravan camped next to a similar oasis, or perhaps a small village/a couple buildings kinda like ...

This week's map is the Secluded Oasis (30x30), a fairly small pool in the dunes alongside just a handful of palms and some ruins. Really, just a grab bag of stock deserty things which you will likely have no issue with when integrating this map into your campaign.
Your alternate version of this map is one which I'm calling 'Mystical', a twist on the regular Night map where I had a b...

Hello again, Expert and Master patrons! This week you're getting the Secluded Oasis (30x30), a small and straightforward map of a popular desert location that will certainly be a popular addition to my map archive. Honestly, I don't know why it took me so long to make an oasis map, it feels like a fairly obvious map that I should have put together years ago, but better late than never I suppose...

Hello everyone, I'm back again with a new map, the Riverside Camp (25x25)! Extra camp maps will always be handy to have on hand, whether they're camps your party has placed or perhaps ones that they've come across while on their adventures (which I've found to be excellent times to sprinkle in any fun characters you'd like them to meet).
As for Neutral Party news, my paternity leave...

Hello there, Adepts! This week's map is the Riverside Camp (25x25), another map which apparently I made back in October. This is my 2nd to last completed map, then I'll have to do some touchups on one more I had set aside, but one way or another I'll be done with my paternity leave and back to mapmaking fully in March!
Anyway, let's chat about this map.

Hi folks! This week's map is the Riverside Camp (25x25), a cozy camp in a somewhat tropical forest, maybe a full jungle if that's how you want to present it to your players. Either way, sometimes your party needs to stop and set up camp while on the road, or maybe you need to slip in a little extra roleplaying with other travelers in the night, both will be great uses for this map!

Hello folks! This week's map is the Snowy Road (25x25), another straightforward and handy map that surely you won't have too much trouble finding a use for. Strangely enough, despite how simple it is, I've been working on a map like this one for quite some time- somehow I never managed to put it together in a way I was happy with! Honestly, I think I first sketched it out maybe even two years a...

Hi Adepts, this week your map is the Snowy Road (25x25)! I know it's a simple one, but this sort of map is realistically the bulk of your average campaign- perfect for surprise encounters mid-journey, or as a planned roadside side adventure. For example, despite being cliché, I will almost always use a straightforward map like this for early battles/encounters against bandits/goblins when begi...

Hello Experts and Masters! This week's map is the Snowy Road (25x25), featuring a small stone bridge crossing an icy creek in a wintery wood. While it's not hard to imagine fighting bandits here, waiting to ambush travelers as they cross the stream, I also like the thought of icy creatures lurking around here as well, an icy slush elemental guarding the bridge perhaps? Or, maybe surprise your p...

Hi folks! This week's map is the Arid Boneyard (25x25), which I made as a chance to draw up some more giant fantastical bones! As a bonus, you're getting another desert map (which aren't particularly common around here), so I'm sure a good few of you will be pleased about that.
And that's that, I'm out once again! I'll be back next week with another winter map which I'm certain will...

Hello again, Adepts! This week's map is the Arid Boneyard (25x25), another map packed with bones. As I've mentioned before, I've discovered during the lifetime of Neutral Party that I really enjoy drawing the bones of fantastical beasts, partially because there are really no rules to follow when you're just improvising on top of real skeletons. It's fun!
Anyway, we'll chat about tha...

Hi Experts and Masters! This week's map is one I made back in October, the Arid Boneyard (25x25)! You know by now that I love drawing bones, so it should be plain to see how this one came around, and who doesn't like throwing in some giant bones jutting out of a dune into their desert settings? That's a nice trope that I'd be glad to build some maps to support.
So, your alternate versions...

Hi everyone, I'm back again in the new year with a brand new map, the Winding Alleys (30x20)! I originally made this map just a month ago, just around when I promised I wouldn't make any new city maps for a little while. Hi Adepts! This week's map is the Winding Alleys (30x20), a fresh batch of alleys and roofs to pad out your cities with, just in case your players don't respect the border of the map and you need a bit more city to help finish up the encounter.
Your extra version of this map is a nice Sunset version- ideal for setting up dramatic showdowns in the streets, or perhaps a rooftop chase ...

Hello everyone, and happy holidays! This week's map is a special snowy one I've set aside for today, the Frozen Pond (25x25)! Hi Adepts, I hope you're having a nice holiday season! For Christmas I was given 'Ghost of Tsushima' by my sister's boyfriend, and let me tell you, I'm getting some fun ideas for maps from it. Welcome back, Adepts! This week's map is the Swamp Bridges (30x30), and your extra version is one where I've removed all of the half-submerged bones littering the swamp! Without them, this map feels a little less grim, and a fair bit more verdant. If you're into Magic the Gathering, I'd say the vibe shifts from Golgari to Selesnya, or maybe even Simic.
