I'll be sharing a set of Svala later as well! I took these yesterday in Reykjavik, and she is so good with cold I felt wimpy shivering in my carharrt jacket as she posed in the wet and wind. But I absolutely adore the photos of her, and of all the women I was lucky enough to photograph on this trip.

Today I'm traveling to London...so it's my last morning in Dublin which feels a bit sad. I really loved Dublin and would love to return at some point. I'm really thinking about doing an Irish tour in 2018 and visiting Kerry, Cork (my family originates from one of these two places actually), Dublin, Galway, Belfast, and some country areas.
But, for now I'm heading to London and very excited...
I just arrived in Dublin, Ireland after an overnight flight by way of Iceland where I was delayed for several hours. I'm absolutely horrible at sleeping on flights but ended up so exhausted I was completely out on the last leg of the journey into Dublin.

I realized today while taking these that I had bought the wrong batteries for my self timer and had no tripod. So I set the camera on the floor...the tripod has been ordered and I'll soon have the right batteries as well.
I still managed to put together a small set that I'm currently working on uploading to the $10 tier tonight. I'm also mailing out prints for the $25 and up tiers in approx...
I had a long weekend vacation type of thing, and now I'm back working. I'll be updating quite a bit today - sorry for the little absence. I have new photos to upload this week, I'll be home doing self portraits before heading to Europe, and I have some shoots set up with other models. So, things will be a bit more busy this week for me, and there will be more content for you :)

And in the past couple of days it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off of me. I've realized I really value getting a bit older. Certain things stand out, I don't see red flags in relationships and think, "Oh, what a pretty color," but instead learned to run in the opposite direction. Sometimes not fast enough, but eventually.

I arrived in Dallas by greyhound tonight...it was quite a ride and included an open sky light roof and the wind blew in the smells of farms anywhere close to the highway. I sat next to a window, watching winding Oklahoma roads, small decrepit houses on plots of dirt, dead grass barely hanging on to the dry soil. Large expanses of land, winding creeks. Photos can be seen in the February 2017 folder...

I had a shoot the other day with one of my favorites Gregory Garecki and ended up, after my support here and his shoot, having more than enough to purchase an actual camera and self timer! So, I'm pretty excited to soon start taking higher quality photos with a nice camera instead of my phone :) So, in less than a month, expect higher quality images - a real remote shutter release will help too. ...
