I've been wrestling with fluids yesterday and today >_> I'll have to review it further, but I think I have the soft body physics looking good (more on that later!)
For now here's some fluid tests. I believe I talked about this before, but something I've tried doing that seems to work pretty well-ish is animating the inflow object.
It doesn't look as good at a lower resolution ...

There's a bunch of different soft body objects on the kobold! 2 for left/right [B]reast, 1 for lower tummy, 1 for upper, 2 for left/right upper arm, one for the butt (but I might one per cheek this time)
The imp has some for the butt, probably more for the rest of body later, but I'm already getting sick of messing with soft bodies >_>

Another update! This is getting close to being done- I wanted to have the character movement done last week, but I got pretty close! I'm nearly done with it now, there's a few spots that have some bad clipping and some that I need to polish a bit, but overall the character movement is close to being done. It's no longer like, creepy pasta near the end :p

I also did some investigating on how to approach building the cave environment the dragon lives in. I tried a few different methods, one using remeshing a simple, square version of the cave then using subdivisions and displacement to shape it....

I have attached something that's extremely early, very WIP, and I mean *very* WIP- there's a lot stuff that's not really animated, some basic pose-to-pose for things, etc... but I'm trying to kind of just block out what's where, though a lot of things are still subject to change depending on the voice acting delivery...

EDIT: I noticed the animations were in .mkv which is the default container when using ffmpeg in Blender and I forgot to switch it! I converted them to .mp4 with handbrake (but left the mkv up just in case).
I've been testing a bunch of stuff and trying make an environment for this animation.

Here's a download to the dragon model! I tried to make it friendly enough to use with the bone shapes and bone groups, but this still might be a bit unruly at first.
EDIT: I've updated the .blend file with a brief read me as well as some more helpful bone shapes! The current version is the one with "update1" but I'm leaving the previous version up just in case.

I modeled the hands and the feet- they're not the best topology wise right now, but they work. I saw that a fair number of kobold characters have 3 toes when I googled "Kobold feet", so I went with 3 (it's also easier that way :p)

I wanted to have some of the final renders rendered today, but I encountered a few problems >_>
First, I was 100 or so renders in when I realized I had the old armature-based jiggle modifier enabled for render (but it was disabled in the viewport). So, it rendered with that jiggle as well as the soft body one and caused waaaay too much jiggle on the butt.

I really wanted to have the lip sync done by today, because I was able to record the lines, and I did most of it- but the part where he pulls off the toy then licks it is still extremely like... unfinished.
