As you may have noticed, not only is this comic page delayed, but it is both not yet technically finished and not even a Rag Tag page.

As with many people over the last couple years, things have been a bit tricky for myself with finances. During this time I relied more and more on the comic backlogs, with the intention of building them back up when work picked up enough to pay for it.

Around the time Diplomatic Claim was first thought up, I was already tinkering with another Inanis project, HMS Fatum Intra Faux. 

HMS FIF was intended as an interactive adventure of a ship of springhares who travel the stars taking on missions (HMS standing for Hopping Mission Ships, Hopping ships being ones that can project themselves, the springhare equivalent to FTL).

While Red Plantas can certainly gobble someone up with their maws, they are more known for eating people via their tendril-filled pitcher plant pods each side of their flanks. Looks like our Red Planta gets two meals this time!

Sometimes the blissfull feeling of being treated as an object, a simple piece of preymeat the be chowed down on, to be considered without any regard to one's own mind and personhood by a Synth Stoat can be as blissfull and cathargic as going all the way to becoming synthetic pudge.

And sometimes that bliss, that indulgence in the sample of being prey can be enough to sooth the senses.

Tight Confines

A little bit of trivia: Timor (Yes, the artist and Thistleland character!) spends more time then not out and about the world, sleeping in a sort of hybrid between a tent and hammock. Being suspended in the air far within a tent above the ground is safer for almost every night!

Here you can see Timor, Bohea and Peppermint having a peaceful, though rather confined, sleep in his tent.

As with most Synth Stoats, Dipso's abilities are limited by the local technology level, the hardware he can physically incorporate into his chassis body, and his skill in using them. Who knows where he got a projected display system better then Cammomiles own.
