Blue, Bluer, Bluest

According to an ingame cutscene in SparkTEJ3 Formies (the species Spark is based on) have blueish blood? Even if Spark is shown to have a pink tongue. I've seen other artists draw them with blue tongues. So I grew curious and wanted to try it out myself and see if it works.

I gotta say I do like the result but I have yet to decide if I'll stick with it.

Spark It Up

Haven't done full traditional artwork in a good while. 

tl;dr I forgot my charger for my laptop when I went to visit family on the weekend, so I drew on paper instead to have fun. This is the result, I hope you guys like it.

Formie Shenanigans

It was meant to be one sketch, however that went out the window as a friend kept me motivated. The ideas where just flowing and then I felt compelled to colour them in to bring out the juiciness. Can't get enough of these two.

Making It Fit

Oh boy was it difficult to shade this. But man, it's really good practice. I love the stark contrast of soft fur and reflective metal. I'm having a blast drawing these two getting it on. 

Going Through This Together

I really enjoy Super Fark's design, but he is quite hard to draw. Nonetheless it won't stop me from trying.

Been wanting to do something wholesome between him and Spark if Spark where to meet him in this form. The size difference gives me life.

Got the inspiration from a banger coat I saw the other day in a game. I was curious how it'd work on Spark and I certainly like the result!
The knee high boots are just extra bc I felt like it.

Man, I'm really proud of this one. The shading's been taking forever to do but I think  it was worth it. They are so much fun to draw.

A Different Jester For Every Situation

You know, in the games Spark can use different abilities, right?
They change his appearance and clothes, so why not dicks too?

New Powers

Vaguely based on the ending of Spark the electric jester 3, so I cannot give more context than the fact that Spark is THICC.

Binged through all 3 games in a week and I can say it was a blast. Definitely another game series that I enjoy a lot. I can recommend it if you are looking for another Sonic-like plattformer.

Fashionable Icon

Man, am I happy to finally give her some justice. Her first design was so bad with the colour mixing and overall clothes. She is one of those characters that are hard to nail down. Some other characters that fall into the category for me are Knuckles and Shadow.

Sporty Kitty

It's been so long since I conceptualised her outfit. Man, am I happy to finally give her some colours. I was inspired by her concept arts.

As a little side note, she is a transwoman in my AU and makes an appearance later in story. She helps Sonic find himself and accept who he is.

Growing Talent

Tails' mechanic buddy, I wanted her to be similar to Tails in the style of clothes. A work outfit, with some stitches here and there. Showing he is passionate at what she does and does not care at how she looks at the end of the day.

Two Tailed Genius

Starting the new year with some updates. Tails gets to be the first of them!
His design is mostly the same, with some added details here and there. I'm really satisfied with this one. I draw Tails rarely so I hope it gives me a reason to make art of him more often.

Ready For The Holiday Season

I sketched out a winter outfit for both Sonic and Shadow last year.
However I never gave them colours up until now. Sonic got lucky and has a slightly altered winter outfit. He got new kicks and is ready to go out into the cold white wonderland!

Unstoppable Force

I think Merga is a great villain. Her actions had devastating consequences, but she has a good reasoning. She just wanted to go on full karma on those who wronged her.

I bet she'd be fun to play as...

Prince Charming

He is one of the very few characters that lives rent free in my head. Oh how I wish for him to be playable in a DLC or at least in another sequel game~

A Leader In Command

Over time Torque became one of my favs in Freedom Planet simply bc of a joke I made.
"What if he would look like a twink underneath his suit?" I jokingly asked my friend as we talked about the Freedom Planet cast and everything changed from there.

I think it's rather noticable now.

Lone Frost Knight

Let's get one thing straight, I don't hate Neera Li.

However I find her to be among the weakest characters when it comes in terms of gameplay and story in the sequel. I did not enjoy my time with her, she feels clunky to play with and lacked impact within the story. She has potential but I still find it a bummer that she got the 4th playable slot.
