Waited for the Oscar so I can make this update. Didn't expect to be using this update image, though. But I mean, it is the only news people seem to care about. And it's probably the only thing people remember from this year's Oscar.

Welcome to March! Movies are getting fun again. Uncharted is apparently pretty enjoyable, can't say I see that coming. The Batman is getting some buzz. But the film is kinda a hit or miss among my snobby filmmaker friends. Turning Red is coming out in a few days. A lot of movies to catch up, a lot of fun to be had.
Spring is starting for many of us. Hopefully the change of season treats you well. As for me, I have to endure two more months of snow. Oh, Montreal.
Is anyone following the Oscar? I used to watch it with my filmmaking friends and make a drinking game out of it. I supposed we mostly enjoy it ironically. But then Covid happened and we don't hang out much anymore.
Maybe I'll watch the Razzies this year. They have an entire category dedicated only to Bruce Willis.
It may seem like a clickbait title, but I'm asking this question for real. If this movie were to come out today, people would've been very offended. But, we all love the movie! What makes us approach this film, and so many similar movies differently than recent films like... Raya?

We are entering the dead month of cinema, when nothing interesting is coming out in the west.
It's also in between New Year and Chinese New Year, so almost everything interesting is coming out in China, soon. Although looking through the movie forecast, it's almost all war movies and cartoons.
