Arabian Nights Rouge (WIP)

Here’s a WIP of the current big illustration I’m making. I’m really trying to push my understanding of color into new places, because I want to start creating more scenes like this which take atmosphere and lighting into account. It’s a little scary to be venturing into new places artistically, but nothing is scarier than stagnating.

Bound Sam (Commission)

A commission for @doggie_bones on Twitter of their character, Sam. I’m excited to try out more human subjects, or at least more subjects with more human-like bodies, as this was fun to do. :)

Well heck. I’m still learning the ropes of using Procreate, so while this is a little rough it’s my first completed illustration made using it! As I use it more, I know I’ll find more efficient and elegant workflow methods, but I’m pretty proud of how this turned out!

Wave sketch page

There are some characters that I feel I haven’t drawn enough of just in general. So doing character exploration doodles helps prime the pump for later adult work, so to speak. But these have value in and of themselves! Plus, they’re fun. :)
