As we've achieved the $350 goal, it's time for a detailed walkthrough to one path. After chapter 9 it will have the sense to add Dorothy's path, but now it's too simple to get the whole content. ;)

I want to share some thoughts about the choices in my game. I try to make The Parity a complex story that players can shape. Of course, it's not a sandbox, so you get some version of the same story. Some events will occur besides players' actions.

I've planned chapter 8. Unfortunately, Twine can no longer hold the weight of The Parity. In Chapter 7 it slowed terribly, now it's nearly impossible to continue the writing. I start to write chapter 7. :) It could be quite long to play, as some scenes are unlocking by your earlier choices. Generally, chapter 7 will focus on the Parity as the game of the divers and Pauline's everyday life as a girl. If you join the game, you could use the chips to bet or to transform your body. If you followed Justin's path, he'd break up with Claudia in this chapter.

I think there is a time to start discussing some characters/paths. I will start with Olivia/Olivier, as you didn't see Martha in her relations with other divers (but chapter 7 and chapter 8 are about it, so she would be the second one in our discussion).

Ufff, 6 chapters behind us. The first act of Pauline's drama. ;) I planned to make it in 5 chapters, but writing fiction is not always about planning. But it's an important milestone.

Peek at chapter 6

Let's say it's a present for Valentine's Day. ;) Chapter 6 will be longer than others as it will have two separate storylines for most of it. It will sum up the character creation. And, well, Pauline will have a chance to lose her restored virginity. ;) As the length of the game will reach the length of Tolkien's "The Return of the King", I think it's time for that. :D

I think about the new game. Of course, not now and even not in the next few months, but as The Parity will come to an end (after chapter 10 at least), I will probably start the second project. I'll call it "The king of the crossrads" or simplier - "The Trickster".
