The Flying Sanctuary is an ancient temple floating high above the clouds. The temple is built on a group of floating islands and it's told to have the spirit of an immortal oracle bound into a golden animated statue. The old tales tell that the Golden Oracle can tell the future and look into any living creatures soul.
Some adventure hooks:
- The mona...

Cursed isometric maps! They are soooo pretty, but cause me a headache every single time :D
About a year ago I bought a drawing pad which has different kinds of pages, most are blank, some have hexes or straight grids and some have isometric grids. The isometric grids are really handy when drawing isometric maps, but I just can't wrap my head around how to draw the different overlaying par...

Here's another science/ research station which is based on the science outpost seen in Rogue One. This does not try to be an exact copy of it, but I imagined a science outpost located on a remote system with really terrible weather conditions :D
The station has a single landing pad protruding from a rocky cliff and the outpost is built inside the mountain wall. Below the platform t...

Last month I did not publish that many scifi maps, so I thought I should do something about the matter.
The premise for this map was an A.I. core, but that actually reminded me of a setting backstory of my upcoming military scifi RPG Sotakarjut (Warhogs) where the first truly self-aware artificial intelligence was developed in a research station hidden insi...

The Hearty Golddigger is a tavern built in an old outpost. The tavern is popular amongst the local golddiggers who come there to gamble and drink their gold and gems.
The tavernkeeper is an old sailor who has connections to smugglers in a nearby city. The tavernkeeper uses their connections to smuggle gems and other goods (sometimes even people – dead or alive) in barrell...

The old dwarven halls have been abandoned for tens of years. The stories about the horrible plague that wiped out the original dwellers of the vaults have kept the curious away from the vaults. The few who have wandered into the empty halls have not returned from their journeys.
The old dwarven halls are now inhabited by the secretive and vile Rat Cult that capture lone and careless...

For some time already I've wanted to make a map of catacombs and decided to combine this with a classic wine cellar. This is designed to be used with the Hospital Monastery map, but I think it works also as a stand-alone map.
Perhaps even a cult hideout where they do vile expriments on captives or use them to feed the undead or other horrible creatures they are hiding in the catacombs.

This map is a location for the regional map of Walkia-Caisla I released last month.
The original idea was that is is an abandoned plague hospital, but it can be used as basically any sort of temple, monastery or church or what ever suits your adventures.
You can find three ...

I have a thing with wrecked spaceships :) I like to design these maps and add a few twists. Lately I haven't been able to do that many of these, but I have some plans to make parts of ships and space stations that are in varying conditions.
This is just a regular spaceship with a horizontal layout which in itself hints to some sort of artificial gravity and inertial dampening technology. ...

Let's start the year with a fairly modest map that can be used with the regional map of Walkia-Caisla I published last month.
This is a small mine, that can be functional or abandoned, but I wanted to add two points of interest there.
First place is a larger cave with some m...

Here comes the last map of 2016 and did I already mention that I really liked Rogue One? :D
Inspired by the new Star Wars movie I wanted to draw somekind of a hidden rebel base. Not a big one, more like a hideout for a small rebel cell that operates from an abandoned outpost, temple or something like that.
I made the main entrance blocked by debris and rocks so it would ...

I saw Rogue One when it came to the movies. So far I've seen it twice, and I really liked the gritty feel in the movie. I especially liked how the planet of Jeddah looked. That inspired me to draw a forsaken or hidden monastery somewhere deep in the wilderness.
Maybe this monastery has already been raided by the forces of the tyrannical empire and they have left some droids to guard...

Here is a little regional map that I made for our adventures in our homebrewn D&D 5e campaign setting. I added a few locations to give some places to visit and add some adventure hooks to.
I'm planning to make more detailed maps of these locations on the map as our adventure progresses or when I get an inspiration.
There can be found printer-friendly versions and ver...

Here's the lineart for the last map of the year. I got my inspiration for this map from the Saw Gerrera's hideout in Rogue One. So, I wanted to make a hidden base housing maybe a dozen or so rebels in an abandoned temple, Jedi outpost or something similar. I wanted to make the main entrance blocked by collapsed chunks of stone and debris so it would seem like the building was inaccessible. But ...

Here's a little regional map I'm planning to use in my upcoming D&D adventures. I'm thinking I could draw the maps for the points of interest on this map. There can be found: - an abandoned dwarven guard tower - dwarven "ghost town" - an abandoned castle - a hidden cultist camp - an old mine

At first look the The Tainted Mausoleum doesn't look like much. It is a building made out of stone and its outer walls are mostly covered in vines and moss. Behind those the walls are decorated with statues and engravings that depict various human-like figures in stoic poses and below these figures, behind the thick grass and bushes that go around the building, there are other figures lying dow...

There rumors of a horrible creature that lives in a cave hidden on the side of the cliffs of a rocky peninsula that is covered in dense mist for the most of the year. It is told that ages ago somekind of cult held its unholy ceremonies in those caves and as a result of their rites the creature was born.

Hello all!
Apologies for being a bit late with the November's collection and as I had to skip the october's collection, I included it with this post. You can also download the collections via Dropbox from the links below:

This map started as one of my #mapvember maps, but ended up being a bit too arduous. So, I left it aside for awhile and later finished all that piping around the map (which too some time to draw btw :D ). I think this map works great as a section of a factory or even an atmospheric processor.
I hope you enjoy it.
