Early drop!
The third entry in the rare Denzel Kanye saga. This one features Denzel's "The Ills," Common's "Faithful," and Ye's "Beat #5," an instrumental off his 1997 beat tape.
Folks have been asking for a Weeknd mix and I've even gotten requests for "XXX2049" (which isn't going to happen), so hopefully this collaboration serves everyone's interests.

I like how both songs here (Diet Coke/Life of the Party) are packed with references to the second-most electric duo in rap, Biggie and Puff. I wonder if cocaine has anything to do with electricity.

Apologies for the recent disappearance of Black Ferrari! I wanted to update a few things as the album starts to take its final shape. The old mix is still available in the scrapped tracks folder, but I prefer this cleaned up version.

Played this thru car speakers and didn’t love the mix. I wanted to do the sample justice so I gave it another try. The new version is my preference but I’ll leave this one up for those who liked it.

I think of this song as a "devil on the shoulder" moment of the album, like the protagonist is being tempted to do something wild. So of course I needed Push on it. He's the ultimate bad influence. (Cudi is the angel on the shoulder. Chief Keef is just vibing.)
