Battle for Wesnoth is a top-down turn-based Tactical Strategy Game with a high fantasy theme. Featuring an in-depth combat mechanic that is elegant and highly functional, along with a ton of single player content and every form of multiplayer under the sun. Plus it's free. With crafting, crew management, an upgrade system for weapons and components, and resource collecting, this exploration game did a fantastic job at managing to keep me entertained and playing far longer than I had intended.
