From a doodle I started at midnight into a sketch that I hated into a piece I then really liked and then into a piece I couldn't settle on a colour scheme for a whole day :^)

I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out! I have an upcoming convention and wanted to design one more new design for a print and I'll definitely make this one into a print!

Gunny Birl WIP 2

Made some more progress on this. Starting to like it a bit more now. Still a bit unsure if I’ll make it a print or not but time will tell. Lots of ideas concerning tones and lines I’d still like to test with this piece though!

In addition to my low art mood I’ve also managed to go and get a blister on my got dang finger which may make art a lil slower again hahaha OOPS

Traffic Light Fighter Gal

Had a random idea to draw someone who might use a set of traffic lights as a weapon.

Took inspiration from just ordinary traffic wardens and Hi-Vis and warm clothes.

She works part time as a traffic warden and then at night enters some underground fight ring or something hahaha I dunno

So I’ve been spending my time off mainly playing Minecraft, watching Clannad and doodling :^)

Clannad is one of my favourite anime series and I don’t think I’ve ever done proper fan art of any of the characters so I’ll have to draw them some more in the future!

This anime is cringey as hell at points but I god dang love it 👌👌👌

Marcy was doing some research on these lil guys but I ain’t too sure they appreciated the company. I think their Netflix subscription just ran out too and they’ve found an epic way to renew it :—)

Lines are done ish! I’ll adjust the weight of some of them so some things will appear more contrasted against the background. I’m gonna try out regular grey tones and also some screen-tones for this. So I might have two versions to show to see which you prefer :^)

I’m gonna try and use this piece to experiment on a style that I could use for bigger comics in the future. So I’ll be mainly practising with line art and tones with it.
