BE WELL

We're preparing to release Part 1 of our documentary with Healing States 365: Titled "What is Healing?".   We've been busy scoring this one for the past 5 years, not an easy task. Along the way we have had several "WTF were we thinking with this track" moments and we've deleted and changed so many things in 5 years.  It's really hard to watch 6 hours of footage all the way throug...

ED'S SONG

The first and only time Abe ever played this song he wrote for his dad Ed was standing on a stump in the middle of the Crestone Energy Fair surrounded by many friends who love and adore Ed and his family.  Abe would never get another opportunity to play this song for his dad. Later we ended losing this song in our own brain files from 2011 - 2020. Abe rewrote this song from memory after al...

We’re running late!

We’ve had a busy month with a lot of changes and we’ve been adapting to our new routine with Abe’s work, our home business and life all happening in the same 500 sq. ft. Space. We’re working hard on finishing 3 projects simultaneously. We’ll be releasing a 4 hour documentary that we’ve been working on with Healing States 365 Organization for the last 5 years! It’s going to be a bi...

Try for the Sun Audio

"Try for the Sun" by Donovan is one of our favorite acoustic folk tunes. We released this song with a video animation for our holiday video series in 2014.  This audio has been sitting in a file since then.   We wanted to share it with everyone.

Gypsy Caravan by Ed Rosenberg

"Gypsy Caravan" by Ed Rosenberg from our new album "Songs of my Father"   Just a little tidbit about what's going on right now..... Abe is trying to change someone's diaper while he climbs under the bed in an attemped escape.  It's been super windy and chilly recently so we haven't gotten outside much, but it's been kind of nice with all the intense rushing around recently.  ...

Colorado Native

Here's a recording Abe made in 2016 of our animals.  Think this is weird? These kind of compositions are something of a passion for Abe. We have an entire file folders filled with stuff like this that  no one ever hears.  Not sure if we'll ever finish this one, lol!  :) But thought it deserved its own chance to be heard.

Small Town Victories!

Those KRZA DJ’s sure have been a huge support for us over the years. Thanks to them for giving us a peek at their radio log, otherwise we probably would never have known we made their top 30 most played albums that week. 😃💜

The Sky's Proposal

"And the love we make will bring all things together", (sniff, sniff) That line gets us everytime.  This song is one of our favorites. It's written by Anna Wolfe one of Abe's fellow song school goers from when he was a kid or teen at least.  We love her style of songwriting and she has a beautiful voice if anyone ever gets to hear her.  I've never been  able to find her in a...

JESSICA AUDIO

We found a song written by Morgan's Aunt Jennie that we learned and recorded years ago! While looking over our new album release "Songs of my Father" We decided to  update all our socials and make sure we had all our ducks in order...which we did not.  We found out that we totally did not upload several songs to our download pages due to the fact that we had no internet at the time an...

Abe's on the RADIO!

We tried to make posts the last couple days on Patreon and it turns out that the site has been down for  maintenance. It's pretty cool that they had the nerve to reopen their site on Friday the 13th though. Just saying.  We love that we finally get to share this with you today!

This is a radio show that Abe recorded with Mike Clifford of KRZA Radio (Our local NPR stat...

What's the next next?

We had a really great digital release yesterday! It was super laid back and easy for us! We dug a couple holes, cleaned the house a few times with a toddler, we collected wood and watched as many hours of Blippi and Call the Midwife as our Solar Panels would allow.  The digital release of "Songs of my Father" will actually continue until it is loaded on all platforms. Maybe 5 days. So we'r...

Album Release is Today! Where to find the best deal on our music?

We submitted our newest album today to our digital distributor. This is a list of the places it will become available. They say it might take a few days to show up on some sites but we also have our trusty Bandcamp page! Have you seen our Bandcamp page before? It’s the best way to get music directly from us. Yes Spotify is great and it’s nice to have our stuff out there all over the Worl...

What makes you smell so bad?

Favorite song alert! if you didn't already know right!  This is probably one of our all time fav songs to play and sing.  Muskrat is a one of those old tyme traditional songs we learned somewhere .  It's actually a song about people if you listen closely.

2016 - Just wee Babies

Here's us. Living in a 7x14 camper with 1 dog, 9 cats, 3 kid goats. No light at night. Lots of canned beans.  woodburning bathtub outside. No fences. No trees. No protection. Compost toilet in a shack outside. Some nights the wind blew so hard and fast it was definitely not far from blowing that whole little camper over. But it never did.  Or maybe the camper just held it's ground...f...

New Album is HERE!

Omg that was fast! We sent our new album in for duplicating only a couple weeks ago and they’re already here! We went through a new printing company recommended by a friend and so far we are super happy. They really went above and beyond our expectations! Sounds like what we sent in, cover was exact and I highly suspect that they used photoshop to replicate Abe’s handwriting for the cd text...

Editing towers

We are getting ready to release Garrett’s original song coyote shoes! We’re going to bring you his illustrations in the form of an animation. This project in some scenes consist of 40 layers of characters that I have individually keyed in this digital paper animation. I only hope I can do his vision and concept justice. This will be one of only 3 animations we’ll be putting up this year. ...

Sweet Radish stuff

Here’s a pic of our newer logo for our Sweet Radish Merch. I’ve been trying to keep everything really simple so when it’s printed on clothing there’s still space to breath. Anyways little back story on the radish graphic. This was the original radish we used on the flyer for our first gig as Sweet Radish. It was 10 years ago, Thanksgiving Weekend (Sunday) at the Villa Grove Trading Post...

Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah

This is one of our favorite cover tunes. We played this version for one of our holiday music videos.  I've liked the way I sound singing it much better after time away from it.  But this will always be one of our fav ballads to perform I think.

REMEMBER TO EXPRESS YOURSELF

More time tracker tracks. This one is 5 minutes.  Abe was in charge of adding the warning and notification sounds.  Loops that are made to get our attention that the song is ending.  Some might say, "Why not just set a timer?"  Because we simply do not respect our handy cell phone timers and alarms, therefore we will do one of two things. Turn it off and get distracted and b...

NEW ALBUM COMING SOON!

It's official we've recorded a new album which is specifically songs written by Abe's dad Ed Rosenberg who was taken by cancer when Abe was just 20 years old. We'll be sharing it soon with our patrons first as soon as it's uploaded. I'll leave it to Abe to share his personal thoughts and stories on this album. Track #4 was written by Abe as a tribute to his late dad. I can say that this album w...
