Getting my arm back in shape after a minor injury, initially started out with a sheep as reference but turned out far more bunny-ish. Have to play with colours a bit too. Initial shading and flats are done and ready to go, just gotta tweak some things and add lighting and of course move on to details and highlights!

Base shading and light source in a bit of a different workflow using an overlay layer for basic lighting and multiply layer for basic shadow. Still experimenting with just how soft I want to go with the look

Not quite hitting the mark here, but a proof of point that I would most certainly like turning into a full piece someday! Needs some SERIOUS reworking. I can do better!
Lesson learned here: Not every piece is going to be a smash hit. It's okay. Got to learn, grow and improve!

Bit of an experiment. I had a lot of fun with this piece although I most certainly felt like a fish out of water!
I learned a lot, but I'm still WAAYY outta my league with what I was trying to do. Still proud though! Definitely want to utilize some of this to improve works as well!

Flat tones and most lighting thrown in. Working out main light source and planning out some colour shifts, playing with a red light source or orange to counter all the blue. Planning on adding more purples and reds. Background needs to be slapped in!

Flat colours, worked out linework, will need to refine. Adding base shading, colour changes, markings, etc in the next set and slowly poking in details after that!

LOTS to do on this, multiple alternate images make for quite a bit more time. Laying out colour gradients, adding block shading and doing some light blending in preparation for detailing and refinement process later on. I'm gradually going through each "alternate" and working out each step at a time.

Work in progress with a thinner lineart and an attempt at really working out details and colouring. Trying hard to improve my weaknesses and rely less on lineart. Then when I go back to do more line-y sort of things hopefully it'll make all the difference!
