Gurularoo was new to modeling when I met her. She was working as a laboratory researcher and was looking for a outlet for her stress, which turned out to be modeling. We shot in a small park in the DC area. We ended up having to move around a few times during the shoot because of the number of people we saw moving around in the area.

Bella Burke came up from Florida when we shot. She was running a little late so was apologetic when she arrived and anxious to get shooting. As soon as she stepped in and before we could exchange pleasantries, she had stripped naked and asked me what she should wear.

I told Jamie Lee Bauern that we were going to do a rough casual look and she took the idea and ran with it. I love that she wore jeans, an article of clothing that is casual and sexy. We also had a wonderful cloudy day that gave a beautiful even light and allowed me to use my lights to emphasize rather than fill shadows.

Nichole and I worked together in Tampa, FL, but we almost missed our opportunity. Her nephew hurt himself just a few hours before our shoot and she had to rush to get him to the hospital. A few stiches later and he was OK so we shot the next morning.

Allie Summers' condo was very well lit, lots of windows everywhere. The light that day, though, was pretty harsh so I tried to position her in nooks. I set up lights, usually to the right, to help balance the natural light.

When Alexisorchid reached out to me to do a shoot at the airport, I wasn't sure we would be able to do it. Happily, we found that renting a few airplanes was affordable and we went ahead with the shoot. We started out with a Cessna 180 and started our shoot there. We originally only planned to rent one plane, but the shoot went so well, we rented a couple more.

I found this great restored 18th century log cabin and immediately wanted to shoot there. It's tucked away in a rather out-of-the-way location and is on the edge of the woods. Maria Verano lives relatively close to the cabin so I reached out to her to see if she wanted to model. Maria was new to modeling but was anxious to get started.
