Mercifully, this is the last time I will assail you before Christmas! Behold the second AMA in which I answer four more of your questions (and ask YOU a question as well). I hope you enjoy the AMA, as I enjoyed recording it. Look for more AMAs in the new year, and if you have any questions or comments about this one, please leave them below.

This week, we visit the dwarven village of Azagirn. We haven't really touched on dwarves in the Village Backdrop line and it seemed time we rectified this situation. (Dwarves are, after all, one of the most popular fantasy races and an intrinsic part of literally every campaign world). I hope you can find a...

The PDF bundle of 40 of our biggest and best Pathfinder books can be yours for only $29.95. (that's a 95% discount off the $454.52 retail ...

I’ve been recently thinking it might be fun to do a video AMA (Ask Me Anything) here on the Patreon page.
I’d like to stay away from sex, religion and politics (let’s pretend we are chatting at a dinner party or family barbecue and little ears lurks nearby) but anything game, campaign o...

December is hurtling toward us and with it the end of the year. At Global HQ, the bad winter weather is most definitely here. (Can you tell I'm English?) That's part of the reason we are focusing on white dragons' lairs for this month's 20 Things release. And along with the in-depth view of white dra...

The long wait is over--The Thingonomicon is here. I've looked forward to releasing this book for ages and now the day is at hand!
I've been using the actual, physical book in my game for the last month or so (since I got the first proofs) and I'm tremendously chuffed to be releasing a new...

This week, Jeff Gomez makes a triumphant return to the Village Backdrop line with Hornwall—a village stuffed full of ex-bandit struggling both with its blood-soaked past and potentially blood-soaked future. Jeff’s done a marvellous job bringing the village to life and I hope your players enjoy visiting the place. Hopefully, they’ll get to leave!
In other news, our late November early Decem...

I like dragons, but I never seem to be able to slip enough of them into my campaign. I suspect this is because we prefer low-level play and thus dragons are pretty terrifying and awesome opponents. (Because we use the slow advancement track, it takes about a year to get to 5th-level).
That all said, writing about dragons is great fun and when I got a request for 2018-11-02 08:02:23 +0000 UTC

This week, we've got a marvellous free product for you as a thank you for your epic support of Raging Swan Press. Gnolls are pretty nasty desert dwellers and often slavers. Encounters with them should be memorable--they should not just be "random evil humanoid in the desert".
I hope you'll be able to use Monstrous Lair #19: Gnolls' Camp to bring these evil humanoids to life and to...

Thank you for voting in last week's poll--almost three-quarters of you did.
I'll be sharing the results later in the week once I'v been able to digest them properly, but your votes have certainly given me some excellent food for thought in regards to next year's schedule.
Anyway--onto this week's poll!

I've started to think about plotting Raging Swan Press's release schedule for 2019.
By the end of 2018 the Languard Locations line will be winding down, and--of course--the Places of Power line also finished this year. It seems like a good idea, therefore, to find out which of our lines was (or is) your favourite.
So--please help me chart 2019 by letting me know which of the li...

Virtually every campaign's got orcs in it. Orcs fill a niche like kobolds--low-level fodder that the PCs (hopefully) slay in vast numbers.

Villages of Ashlar is finally here!

Adventurers never seem to own houses. Itinerant wanders, they often end up staying in taverns and inns. Often GMs hand wave such parts of the PCs' travels. That's a bit of a shame as some drinking, chatting with locals, perhaps a bit of gambling and--occassionally-- a brawl are a great change of pace to the normal flavour of a game session.
With that in mind, I present to you 20 Things...

This week, Jacob W. Michaels serves up a different kind of village altogether--a prison from which most of the inmates don't want to leave! This is the perfect village to place a nefarious NPC the PCs really need to meet. Perhaps the NPC has special information or skills the party needs. Alternatively, a roguish PC could be looking for a friend or relative imprisoned at Blackhill Gaol.
