2019 Calender - Tiger Trio WIP 1
Work on the 2019 "Draconia Chronicles" Calendar continues, and on this go-round, it's a redux of the 2003 calendar debut of Kess, Shie, and Riah as they inadvertently set the wheels in motion for the current storyline by attacking the convoy of Azure, Gold, and Red (before earning the title of "Lady").

Production on the 2019 "Draconia Chronicles" Calendar has resumed and back by popular demand, here are the pencils for Gaia's update from the 2001 calendar! The intent behind the original pic was one where Gaia had discovered something interesting behind a bush. I decided to redo it in such a way that we'll see what she found. I'm loving the energy on this one! ^__^

Thanks for your patience on the new page. I went through a bit of an art slump this past week, but I think I'm recovering as my "weekend" gets underway. I'm really digging how this page is coming out thus far, especially with the ambiance. The last panel is giving me fits, though, which is why barely any of it's done. Hoping to get done or close to it on Monday.

I've got Kilani sketched for the 2019 "Draconia Chronicles" Calendar. It's a bit of a reinterpretation of her first appearance from the 2002 calendar. Looking at her character progression, I decided that this moment should reflect a somber, saddening realization rather than the disgust conveyed in the original.
Yes, the light sword is inspired by "Tenchi Muyo."

Got another one penciled! Lady Red holds the distinction of having appeared in every single calendar, including a sneaky cameo in the all-Tiger edition for 2010. When I first drew her in 1999, I nicknamed her cornrow pattern "Bank of America" due to the similarity it has to their logo. ^__^
