Here's a touched up one from way down the line. #70, Mei. I really wanted this to come out well so I tried a few new things, techniques, brushes, and progress points. It's the flats, so there won't be any color depth until I tackle this later. Still, it was really fun to see this go from a rough sketch to this point.

Touched up version of sketch #2. It's good to be comfortable drawing again. Was worried I'd be stuck blankly staring at a monitor with my hand unable to draw anything.

Was rewatching MLP and Granny Smith caught my eye. Well, the middle age version did, at least. I had an idea for a comic but scrapped it because the premise was too cheesy.

So this month took a dip in posting but that's honestly because I got a little carried away with something.. I bought a sketchbook and thought it would be fun to get some doodles down, and then the next thing I know I was drawing in it every damn second I had free. On top of that, I got three commissions, two of which will be shared with the public.

Miss Scarlet

What I messed around with today. Growing up, I honestly thought the actress who played Ms. Scarlet was Sigourney Weaver but she's actually  Lesley Ann Warren. Major crush on her growing up. Going to throw this into the work in progress pile for now. I write stuff for most of the stuff I draw. Just never know where to put it.
