After the most awful, tedious, and physically painful day I've had in years (last moving day, more details on that in the forthcoming news letter) I decided to take a day off. Which ended up turning into me doing art anyway, but art that I wanted to do for myself.
This is my new character, Mielissa. And I'm showing her to those of you who donated $10 at the fundraiser, and to my $10 Patrons...
This is the collab-turned-fundraiser-reward that I did with Back-of-the-Book, this month's collab reward for August. This will have a follow up sequel (currently in progress) some time in coming months called "Immovable Object".

We have spent our first night in the new duplex. I think we will enjoy it here once we're settled in. The only problem here is brown recluse spiders, but we have only seen one dead one, no live ones, and the pest-control guy is on call (included in rent).
In the meantime, we're still fundraising to get our vehicle fixed, as it hasn't been able to go faster ...
